LionDollars Program Closes Affiliate Signups Effective Immediately !!!

Existing Affiliates Have Already Received This Release by Email

PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LionDollars Program Closes Affiliate Signups Effective Immediately

CYBERSPACE, February 2008 - The LionDollars webmaster affiliate program has announced that, effective immediately, they will no longer being allowing affiliates to sign up for their long standing and highly successful adult dating, escort directory, solo girl and adult website affiliate program.

For the past 18 months, the LionDollars team has been working feverishly on rebuilding the LionDollars webmaster program from the ground up, and are soon to release Version 4 of their highly successful program, and closing webmaster signups to the existing system in preparation for the transition to the new version is required for maximum effectiveness in the changeover.

"LionDollars V4 represents a fundamental shift in the business model that has underpinned the huge success and growth of LionDollars as a program and brand since it's inception in 2004", said Lindsay (CuriousToyBoy) of LionDollars. "The system has been rebuilt from the ground up, and is a totally separate system to the current system, and will provide some selected extremely powerful promotional tools from outset, but more importantly it provides the platform for the provision of an ever expanding range of new and exciting tools ongoing for webmasters to maximize their income from promoting us".

LionDollars V4 will be a "By Application Only" program, remaining now open application to experienced and newbie webmasters alike from anywhere, but with the approval process being vetted much more carefully to ensure maximum fraud prevention and program integrity ongoing.

Existing affiliates can apply to have their existing accounts ported over to the beta of V4 from the old system by sending their affiliate details to john AT liondollars.com for consideration - if applications from existing webmasters are not received before the start of the Beta period, they will be required to re-apply once the full launch is released.

Existing webmaster linking codes from the old system will be valid for six (6) weeks from the date of full V4 launch, to ensure existing webmasters do not lose out on their current links or accounts.

For more information visit www.LionDollars.com or contact CuriousToyBoy on [email protected], ICQ 293-070-684.

wow- you are not going to track the links beyond 6 weeks? that does not sound like an upgrade- it sounds like heist. we still are compatible with links from august of 1998 and it is not hard to track past links when you want to... did i misread that release?

If you change over links there is no issue.

Always has been the way.

Bottom Line - we will not be trying to be everything for everyone and we will be focussing our efforts on working closely with those people we can work with.

It's called targeted application of resources ;-)

We will not ever be able to make everyone happy all the time, or even most of time and probably not even some of the time.

So we CHOOSE to be all we can be for those that we are able to be all we can be for.

A quite logical repose if you think about it.

2c

I think thats a highly irresponsible take on the issue when it would not be that hard to implement on your side for version 4 so that your affiliates are not left holding the bag going back to change thousands of links and some of those in the case of galleries are not changeable.

If this is your take now, then whats to stop you from screwing over all your new affiliates once you decided version 4 is not good enough and its time for version 5?

Take the small hassle for you to get a programmer to properly back track the old links and keep everyone happy.

LionDollars never "run and hide" as others have been known to do :winkwink:

Anyone can contact me anytime on [email protected] or ICQ #293070684, [email protected] on MSN, GMM Toy Boy on AOL, CuriousToyBoy on Skype or GMMtoyboy on Yahoo.

(If I am not here when you message, just leave your questions/issues and I will respond as soon as I am back).

I posted these response below elsewhere, but they are as pertinent here as anywhere else...

If we wanted to rip people off, we would just cut out all old sites and not provide any grace period for links to be adjusted now wouldn't we ? MANY have done just that in the past, we are not. 2c.

All of our old system links are individually encrypted for fraud protection. The ONLY way to continue tracking the old links to is to keep the ENTIRE old system side-by-side to the new one. Not viable and not logical. 6 weeks from the launch of Version 4 (not from NOW, from actual new system launch, so longer than 6 weeks in effect).

:thumbsup

If there are ANY affiliates of LionDollars out there that will have significant problems/loss associated with gallery links SPECIFICALLY, please hit me up direct and we will address on a case by case.

No one who has a reasonable and viable case will lose out.

I can personally guarantee that.

Dude, for someone who has used galleries to promote you that just isnt possible, damn I would be gutted in the extreme.

Lee 02-27-2008 01:10 AM

OK, you posted whilst I did so that possibly addresses the concern.

Sorry mate.

Bottom line on the linking codes vs. galleries complaint is that pretty much EVERY existing affiliate that would have had any major problem or key concern with link code changes on galleries we have ALREADY spoken with and sorted arrangements to everyone's benefit.

If we missed anyone, and I do not think we did, I apologize, but hit me up now - or post away here, I doubt there will be anyone.

That is why we cut 6 weeks grace, and PLANNED all of this and COMMUNICATE freely.

I've been around a little longer than most ...

:winkwink::thumbsup:pimp

And the escort feeds will be available for Beta VERY shortly.

I'll be in Costa Rica to discuss this with anyone who's coming.

You can absolutely be guaranteed that noone will lose out on this 6 week limit. If an issue exists with a webmaster who's sending traffic and making $$, we will make it right, no matter what it takes. That's what we do and what we've always done.

Hippy, the feeds aren't ready. But like we discussed...when they are, they'll be right. Unlike many of the programs who roll it out as is and then fix the problems as they go along, we're going to do it right the first time and that means testing it, smashing it, re-building it and then testing it again.

See y'all in CR tomorrow, if you've got questions...you know where to find me.

Awesome Z !

And for the benefit of Hippy and others...

"By Application" means exactly that, and part of our process is that full, complete and real details will nee to be provided by applicants as part of that process.

If you try and apply using ANY BS details, it of course will not be approved, AND it is LIKELY that any further application from you would also be denied.

We did not spend time, money and resources building a new business model to circumvent it at the first opportunity.

I should just clarify that the escort feeds WILL be ready with V4 Beta launch in the next couple of days.

All this step that this thread is about is closing Version 3 and making that transition to V4.

Jdoughs 02-27-2008 05:55 PM

Making old links only last for 6 weeks is a blatant money grab. What could it possibe hurt to pay for those links, nothing except it means you have to pay for them. Countless other programs have switched programs and backends but their old links work to this day.

I have referal links from most sponsors listed in all 3 engines and a move like this would be theft in my eyes. I have a page 2 referal code listing to a site for a massive term and its been there for 3 years, they changed to nats midway, and those links still payout to the old links, why not, its my sales my traffic.

I'm sure its something you considered, but man, there is no reason at all to shut them links off after 6 weeks. Stuff like this is what makes me even wonder why i send sponsors traffic.

Definately add Lion Dollars to the "non search engine friendly" list.

Just read above about getting with the existing affiliates that would see a loss, i missed that, and my opinion was based befor seeing that, i still disagree with it i will add..lol

having my name brought up in regards to this, i think i should clarify what this is about so i do not come off as a shady webmaster in regards to details.

as many of you here at gfy have seen, info security with affiliate programs isn't top notch - i'm not saying this is the case with lion dollars. we've seen leaks, and we've seen the repercussions from the leaks. it isn't good or pretty, and to be honest it's a pain in the fucking ass for all parties involved.

that said, i requested a "test account" in so many words so i could verify will be LD providing me everything i needed in order to make myself, and them, cash with escorts. if the tools i need to promote aren't available, i wouldn't be signing up. this is simply to protect my own information - if i am not promoting, or working with a sponsor/company, they do not need my information. the application process would be the same, nothing would change, i would only verify i can actually work with the said program.

i would have preferred not to explain myself like this, publicly, but since my name was brought up in a light that seems to make me come off bad, i think it's warranted.

i personally do not feel this request is way out in left field. maybe it's an adult industry thing, and i'm a mainstream guy not use to these practices or rules.

again this wasn't meant as an attack, drama, or anything. i just want to clear things up.

take care, and good luck with v4 if we can't resolve things :thumbsup

Shaze 02-27-2008 06:05 PM

and what will happened to the old links? will they just go dead, redirect, etc...? i don't see a reason why old links can stay online.

BradM 02-27-2008 06:06 PM

I'll make your version 1-2-3 links all compatible with "version 4" for free. LMK if you're interested. No catch, just hate seeing morons claim there is no way to make old links compatible when it's as easy as fuck.

We welcome diverse opinions but reverse the right to do as necessary and continue to do the right thing where we are able.

Like I said, we are ceasing trying to be all things for all people - the ones that we can work with shall reap the benefits of better focus and resorucing being more specific to THEIR needs.
