Someone edited posts!

Look at R3k pg 1, edited.

What was said?

Damnit!

Fletch I've been with likewhoa for a few months and that downtime happened once.
12 hours of downtime is just bullshit, but likewhoa has been pretty stable.
(apart from that 1-time fuckup)

With likewhoa there is always a tech support on ICQ 24/7 and they respond right away to problems.

Just beware of registering domains through their control pannel. I tried to add a new domain and it said it registered, meanwhile I was sent no login/pass or e-mail regarding the new domain, and I'm supposed to update the name servers at the registar, this is fun....Then I do a whois on the domain (registered 6 days ago) and nothing is found.
I've got to call my CC company and see if I was billed or not.
Christ this fucking delay.

bawdy 10-07-2002 05:37 PM

12hrs of downtime time eh?

a few months ago the hosting company i currently use had about a week of downtime and i stuck through it.... but the last couple of days stuff has began to fuck up again. I dont think i'll stick around especially considering that i pay about twice the going rate for virtual hosting. And not to mention that a notable EN personality has also shifted hosting leaves with not much faith in them. :winkwink:

After seeing the way that they represented their company in Florida...I would personally stay away from them.

If you want top of the line, try ISPrime.

Dude, who are you? Better yet, what are you?

Teach yourself some manners, and don't step into something you have no idea about. I'll let the time tell.

LOL... Actually, that is 2 of the owners and a Crack Whore. I have a cool video clip of that. :)

Their tech support guys were busy working and could not go out and play that night. :)

I am not saying that Likewhoa is a bad company. I have never done business with them but I did see some of the shady things they tried to pull in Florida...and no, I will not go into it on the boards.

You can tell a difference between shady and not? Look what's around you. :thumbsup

TheFLY 10-07-2002 06:27 PM

I use the virtual now for some sites... Beerbust and Redshoe use it also... It comes with a pretty cool console interface where you can build email boxes and all that crap... I use the boxes to filter out spam... and do all my outgoing/incoming email -- also you can add your own domains, do transfers, etc.

Oh well, better luck next time. And remember, keep trying!

I have a problem with your opinion, yes! Why? Because you already know why.

LOL. I have no personal bad feelings for any of them...Just that I would not take my business there. Even if he would share the blanket with me. :glugglug

Actually, I do not know why. Please enlighten me.

The thread was started as a way for bawdy to gather info about experiences with Like Whoa. Since I have an opinion about some of the business practices of that company then I am allowed my right to post about it.

Tukhman 10-07-2002 06:36 PM

No Aaron, your words of play are not helping now. If your opinion was based solely on your knowledge about our service, company, or other experience then it's relevant. What you stated here, are your reasons driven by the people you are in bed with.

Like I said, let's just let the time tell. I have nothing personal against you, just your opinion, which I strongly feel is biased.

AaronM 10-07-2002 06:36 PM

Oh, now I get it. I just found out that Tukhman is the CEO if Like Whoa.

Nice. Get with reality man. You coming after me on the board just because you do not like my opinion of your comapny ony gives me more reason to warn people of your practices.

Tukhman 10-07-2002 06:37 PM

You are more then welcome. I would love to hear your opinions. Hopefully, they fall within category of an opinion.

TheFLY 10-07-2002 06:37 PM

All this talk about a cum towel has me curious.

Understandable. But biased or not...I still know what I saw happen in FL.

Actually it's all true. Nick has always been rough on my rear end, although I begged him to go easy. :(

Quiet frankly, I have no idea what you mean. If there is something I overlooked and you feel I should know, please contact me.

I have no reason to help you or anybody else police their companies. I have done some questionable things at shows that has cost me some business as well. Nobody is perfect but for you to come at me in what appears to be more of a personal level....This I do not understand.

sarcasticbastard 10-07-2002 06:45 PM

It's good hosting until i goes like
whoaaaaaaa

ltrz
absolutely not martin

Tukhman 10-07-2002 06:45 PM

I'll consider the information you are hidding is from a marketing stand point, which in a way constitutes bullshit. It's allright though.

Marketing? No, not at all. More like how your people conducted themselves on the convention floor.

I tried to ICQ you but got a fucking Trillian error.

Hit me up. Since I have no personal ill will towards you or your company I would rather keep what I saw out of the publics eye. It is called extending a professional courtesy, not bullshit. Me offering my opinion was also meant as a courtesy...just not to your company.

Tukhman 10-07-2002 06:53 PM

I've added you. Thanks.

Herb Kornfield 10-07-2002 07:25 PM

Likewhoa rocks! :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

TheFLY 10-07-2002 07:33 PM

If you want to test the speed of the virtual account... here's the original "LikeWhoa" song from "Black Rob"

Seems like most radio stations that do freestyle contests use the beat from this song...

http://1pc.net/fly-likewhoa.mp3

Turn it up! LOL
