I went to see "RAMBO" I left he theatre after 45 min....

Good lord did it fucking SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Same fucing type of story line as other rambo movies

i fell asleep also a few timees

BVF 02-09-2008 03:37 PM

lay off the pills before you go....

ztik 02-09-2008 03:37 PM

yeah that movie looks cheesy

L-Pink 02-09-2008 03:41 PM

You're quite the optimist for even going.

Rhesus 02-09-2008 03:43 PM

I never understand when people leave films early, unless they're offended or something. Of course the movie sucks, but you must have a fantastically entertainment-filled life if you can't even sit out the remaining hour of a movie like that.

Horny Dude 02-09-2008 03:43 PM

I liked it. Wasn't the same old story. They were not coming to him asking Rambo to save the world. They never hid the fact that he was older. He gave them a ride up the river and pitched in when the time was right. The story was decent. In all it was a pretty good movie.

pornask 02-09-2008 03:45 PM

I was just as impressed few weeks ago (but I wasn't smart enough to leave after 45 mins - which makes me bigger a dumbass than you). Then I'd come here and losers are praising this piece of crap like it was the best thing since peanut butter jello sandwiches. WTF?

DEA - banned for life 02-09-2008 03:48 PM

i left Lord of The Rings after 20 minutes on opening nite..the other people in the theater looked at us like we were terrorist.

NoWhErE 02-09-2008 04:01 PM

45 min?

you should have stayed an extra 15 and you would have seen the ending.

woj 02-09-2008 04:01 PM

That's why you should do some quick research beforehand, it's pretty obvious that that movie won't be that great, unless you are 12 years old....

Because if you leave while it's 'just a shit film' you don't have to wait for it to develop into 'the worst fucking film I ever spent money on' ... :2 cents:

Generally a very insensible approach I think, especially if this is applied on other things in one's life :2 cents:

Hahaha I hated it too. We must be the only people who did. Unfortunately, I had to sit there with the family who are all huge fans. I'm sure I must have fallen asleep as I can't remember anything beyond the beginning.

Shoehorn! 02-09-2008 04:58 PM

I saw it earlier in the week and thought it was badass. You should have waited around for the 15 minute massacre at the end. :thumbsup

Violetta 02-09-2008 05:12 PM

ok, so if it was like the other 3 movies wtf did you expect? Rambo is Rambo...

Surprisingly, this new RAMBO movie looks pretty good. juicy d. obviously has a short-attention span. This movie is only 82 minutes long. If you can't sit through that, what can you sit through?

I'm not sure where you read that, woj. But if you visit two of the top movie review sites as voted in by users and critics you'll see that MetaCritic gives the movie a 9.1 out of 10 from Users, and Mixed Reviews from the critics.

At RottenTomatoes.com it gets a 78% approval rating. But scores low overall with the critics. It certainly looks like a crowd pleaser. Before I even read that I had heard from my movie buff friends that it was quite entertaining. I plan on seeing it, since I already saw what I need to see that's out right now.

quantum-x 02-09-2008 05:13 PM

New rambo was a great film. Simply as that.

Kimo 02-09-2008 05:36 PM

i enjoyed it

GTS Mark 02-09-2008 05:39 PM

Didn't you take any HGH before you went in? I thought you sprinkle that shit on your popcorn before you go to any flick? LOL!

Horny Alf 02-09-2008 06:57 PM

well the first 45 minutes were boring, the best part was the 2nd half of the movie

crockett 02-09-2008 07:07 PM

Dude it's "Rambo" what did you expect.. it's like going to see a movie called "Snakes on a Plane". The expectation level shouldn't be set very high.. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I think it will be one of those.. wait till it's on HBO then let if play in the background while I'm working.

wrong... if you know films, you know if a movie is gonna suck or not. If a movie like rambo got a 45 minute long intro, i couldnt care less. Since i know its gonna be some good shit later on.

The only movies I ever turned off, or felt like turning off but couldnt since there were also friends watching, were 3 movies:

- Some dutch movie yall dont know and dont want to know ("Cool")
- Walking Tall
- Last Days

edit: How could i forget Star Wars Episode 1 !!!! I turned it off afte 20 minutes. So goddamn childish.
