I think I am the only person other than Bush who is Pro Iraq War.
Sadam had to go - I agree we had to go in, just not for the reasons we gave.
We should also go in where there are other atrocities taking place. I hate it when people say we shouldnt have gone to war because we didnt in Somalia or Rwanda. Yes we should have stopped the shit in those places - but it dosnt make sense to say we are hypocrites so Iraq shouldnt have happened. We would be even worse if Iraq was left to rot. Nobody should have to suffer, we have enough to make the world 100% free from poverty and fear. OK - I have to go to the chemist to get my happy pills now. Rant Over |
Shut up you faggot.
You know why the U.S. didn't go into Rwanda and Somalia (or Sudan more recently)? Because there's no fucking oil. Iraq had nothing to do with Saddam. It had nothing to do with atrocities. It had nothing to do with WMD which they knew weren't there. Here's Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam the day the U.N. released a report that he had used mustard and nerve gas against Iran. But that was in 1984 when they had a use for him. There were "atrocities" being committed back then too but the Reagan administration didn't say shit. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/rumsfeld-saddam.jpg The day you see the U.S. invade and occupy a country where "atrocities" are occurring and that country doesn't have oil is the day this happens: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/55/11...09f377146d.jpg |

I have been a member of GFY for over 5 years - People know me, they know I have a perverse veiw of the world sometimes. If I changed who I am just because I got a job, people would notice and I dont think they would be happy that I 'changed' and became an ass kisser. This is really not a good day to be calling me on this shit  |

So live with it, and all of the consequences that come with it. You stated that it was fine for the Bush administration to go into Iraq and that the US shouldn't be accused of hypocrisy because it didn't go into Rwanda, Somalia and Sudan... even though by your own admission "atrocities" on the same scale were occurring there too. Well you can take your opinion and shove it up your loose ass because that's where it belongs. |
other than Bush? You mean other than Bush, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Obama, McCain, Romney and Huckabee. :error

Now why doesn't that surprise me.... scumbag. You are a classic case of bad karma. You have been punished by the universe for being a piece of shit. Every day you feel agonising pain and you will continue to feel this every day until the day you die, which should be too far away. You have been judged and punished and every day you pay the price. And you deserve nothing less. :1orglaugh |

Look at StickyFingers. Why do you think he got bashed so much? Why did 90% of the people hate him? Because of his political threads. Then he made one mistake by not paying his partner and the drama blew up in his face. |
the only thing i can agree with is that we need to stay the course now that we're there. i never considered it a good idea to go in to iraq but those countries need to be put on their feet, we cant leave until thats accomplished otherwise it will breed only more hate.
but i completely disagree that we need to police the world. hell our country is in shambles. people do not like other countries that exert their will. unless peeps ask for help we need to let them be and fight it out themselves. and in reality that is what we do unless it impacts our interests. |

I find it offensive that because I dont share your opinion you suggest that I am unprofessional.... The point is that we can have different points of view - If I am not allowed that at least then GFY becomes what we ALL hate. |

Anyway that's my opinion. I'm not going to discuss this any further, got work to do. Good luck with the great political discussion you're going to have with the intellectual GFY crowd :1orglaugh:winkwink: |
"Sadam had to go"
Why? Because “Saddam is Baaaad?” what about other “bad” people like Mugabe, Chavez etc.. why not go out there as well? Baaad? Well, that bad person was able to contain all Muslim freaks in Iraq, and whats happening now? How many baaaads replaced one bad? |
Lol you are clueless

I back what I said BTW - I think we (The richer countries) do need to stop tyrants. We shouldnt just ignore what is going on around the world..... We cant use the the excuse 'I am american' or 'I am British' why should I care what is happening in the world around us. I know it sounds trite - but we are citizens of the world first and Americans or Europeans last. We are obliged to protect each other. |

Funny you didnt like Damians opinion, but you had no problem spouting your uneducated one about me. :321GFY |

Back to the subject at hand... I never had a problem with taking Saddam out. I had a problem with the agenda behind it.
Why divert attention away from Bin Laden after 9/11 to suddenly feel that Saddam is not such a nice guy over there? Why were there false reports about WMD's that they were so certain were true? Why would Bush so quickly say that Bin Laden wasn't a priority? There was just TOO MUCH obviously wrong with the whole scenario and that's what upset people. Now, go back to Desert Storm... had they of removed Saddam then, no one would have blinked an eye. It would make perfect sense. But why just forget about him until after 9/11 and have this desire to get him all of a sudden out of the blue?? |
