Do foreigners care as much about American Football as we do about soccer, or do they actually like our Football.

Ever been to an American Soccer game? The stadiums are never full and 90% of the audience is foreign.

Nope, the rest of the world couldn't care less about American football. What cracks me up are the Europeans who feel the need to remind us that nobody cares but us. We know. We just don't care that you don't care. We hate soccer. Do Europeans really care that we think it's a stupid sport? They seem to.

Not sure but they care about the Super Bowl according to tv stats.

Its funny though, the whole world plays soccer yet its a "stupid sport". Only you guys play American football. Ever think thats because Americans cant soccer?

I always used to watch the Superbowl when in England. NFL got really popular for a while, I dunno if the interest has died out.

Mind you an Indian sport called Kabbadi got popular for a while too, and that was one sad sport.

The rest of the world doesn't care about "football" though, and enjoys soccer. So they would say American Football sucks. Even though we do tend to watch some of the Superbowl. (it's an excuse to get drunk)

It's only America which doesn't like soccer, and claim football is much better.
So is EVERYONE else in the world wrong ? :)

I'll be watching the super bowl tonight, it's the only football game of the year I watch. I don't know anything about the two teams playing.

Americans like Football just because it is similar to Roman gladiators. Not one person I know has ever talked to a football player and no one I know plays it as adult. It is just a show is all.

Soccer or football of the world is more a cultural thing. People actually play it.

Sort fo explains why one does not like the other. It is a huge cultural thing.

I have spoken and partied with several members of the Los Angeles Raiders (when they were here) and I know my son spoke with Jerry Rice when he ran into him at a supermarket a few years ago.

Europeans have only one major sport, while Americans have three (Basketball, Baseball, Football).

Football and Rugby are major sports in Europe and Cricket in England at least.
The difference is Europeans take their sports much more seriously, Americans like going for a day out a bbq and some whoppers in the stands.

Go to a football match in Europe you can hardly hear from the songs and noise from the crowd.
At a baseball/nfl match with xxx,xxx fans is as quiet as a sunday league match here with 1,000 fans.

I like a good sporting match no matter what country or what type of sport.

Nobody gives shit about american football outside of the US.

Football is by far number one sport in the US. Its Basketball and baseball after that.. In Europe It all depends on what you good at. In Scandinavia/Czech/Russia its Hockey. I know Dutch go crazy about speed skating. Scandinavians like skiing..

Soccer is a very exciting sport to me.
