That is what you get for going cheap with a second grade host.

Surprising though, eliteplanet has been around for a long time.

Eliteplanet was neither cheap, nor secong grade.

I think they had colo at c h o o pa. Maybe when you call cho opa they can help you. In your best case scenario they unplugged eliteplanet because they did not pay, and they still have the servers...

Damn that sucks man.. one scary part about this biz is you can almost be held hostage by a server company in one way or another.

This should be a lesson to everyone to always save local back ups.

If they were at C H O O P A and you can't get ahold of them I would think the best thing to do is call C H O O P A although they might not be able to comment. Best of luck to everyone affected, remember you have friends here on GFY - I know that all of the hosts that advertise and post here are usually more than happy to help new clients that are in a bind.

yo jay i am starting to see other posts turning up on all sorts of forums about this too. people are shitting bricks. i'll send you some icqs with the links to the forums. digital point is one place thats seeing action on them being offline.

supposedly choo-pa pulled the plug on them.

google "eliteplanet" and you'll find very recent results.
