Where can I buy some really good looking, expensive clothes? In Toronto?

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

not yet, so far i've been walking around in poor clothes

AaronM 01-23-2008 09:28 PM

Are you fat as your name implies?

As a fellow fattie....I've not had much luck getting nice clothes in Canada.

New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles have great places. Use your thousands and buy a plane ticket to LA and I'll hook you up with my tailor.

I'm not an off the rack mr big n tall kinda guy.

I can get basic jeans and shirts at Macy's. Hell, I could probably get an OK suit there too.....But I know I can get a way better suit for a way better price from my guy in LA or from a number of places in NYC.

MetaMan 01-23-2008 10:25 PM

Expensive clothes dont mean shit,

I love when guys spend $400 on a gucci shirt that is ugly as fuck.

you want to attract a gold digger? the more flashier + uglier + more expensive the shirt the more likely you are to.

Thousands really does not go too far when buying high quality clothing. It is easy to spend $1000 on one pair of jeans, and I saw a T-shirt at one of those shops in between Mandalay Bay and Luxor for $1300. ONE FUCKING TSHIRT.

One reasonably good tailored suit will be over $2000. Add good shoes for $500, a shirt for $300, and you still have only one suit for 3 grand.

So, thousands is not going to be enough if you really want to be a big spender and get a full wardrobe of expensive clothes, better have tens of thousands.

This thread is hilarious.

Its not about the wearing expensive clothes. Its about how you wear your clothes in the first place. If you're a ugly guy then expensive clothes aint gonna make you look better. You need to be able to pull it off.

Buzz 01-24-2008 04:39 AM

People starting threads like this don't need expensive clothes.

You'd rather spend the money on charity.

I disagree! Anything that pulls the eye away from my face is a winner in my book.

Incorrect. Do you seriously not remember the Simpson's episode from season 2 with the clothing emporium for “Obese and Gangly Gentlemen” that Homer’s new assistant, Karl (Harvey Firestein) takes him to?

"Homer, quit sucking in your gut. You! < points at tailor > ...conceal it!"

good looking and expensive doesnt have to be in the same line obviously

sweetcuties 01-24-2008 06:41 AM

What a dumb thread... you sound young and insecure! If you've got a need for quality, take your ass to Bloomingdales, Nordstroms or something similar and invest the rest. Money doesn't last forever and sooner or later you're gonna need it :2 cents:

alby_persignup 01-24-2008 07:20 AM

why is it have to be expensive, anyway, try asking saleslady.
