MMA's Dream Fight - Fedor vs Randy!

One day it will happen, just not in the next few months. WHen it does, it will shatter records!

http://www.m1mixfight.com/storage/images/1247.jpg

I can see some moron getting drunk and starting a fight with these two unassuming guys. And getting the living shit kicked out of them!

Nicky 01-23-2008 10:40 AM

Yea not exactley the first 2 people I'd pick a bar fight with LOL

Johnny Rocco 01-23-2008 10:51 AM

I respect Randy - however Fedor is an ANIMAL

Gambrinus 01-23-2008 12:13 PM

Huge fan of Randy, huge fan of Fedor. Fedor will stomp Randys guts out.

Phil 01-23-2008 12:18 PM

Randy doesn't have a chance. Unless he gets lucky ala "Gonzaga" with one kick he's toast.

PS: BJJ is gay :D

BJJ is trained by 9 out of 10 MMA fighters.

Sambo has one Champion. Fedor.

BJJ is gay! and more effective!

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 01-23-2008 02:25 PM

The fight will never happen, its just something MMA fans are going to have to accept...

who are the other 9 champs?

all around female champ Megumi Fujii trains Sambo.
name me the BJJ champs please.
if it was more effective I would see silva as champ, but its still ole russian boy FEDOR.

UFC Current Champions:
Heavyweight
Randy Coture - Trains in BJJ
Light Heavyweight
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson - Trains in BJJ
Middleweight
Anderson Silva - BJJ Black Belt
Georges St. Pierre - BJJ Brown Belt
Lightweight CHampion
B.J. Penn - BJJ Black Belt

I would say that you got owned. I'd go through other organizations, but it's pointless. Sambo has maybe a few fighters in MMA, even less who are champions. Give it up. You don't even train in it, so it must be because you are just russian.

Oh give me a break. “practice BJJ”.. I think most fighters “practice” BJJ by now to protect themselves from other BJJ fighters. The reason there are fewer Sambo fighters in MMA is because it has yet to gain popularity. Don’t forget that Russians weren’t allowed in shows like that until mid 90’s… BJJ has been “cool” for a while now, but with more fighters turning to its techniques I wouldn’t be surprised that in 10 years it will be just as popular as BJJ.
Name one one BJJ fighter that is capable to beat ferod right now? NONE..
PS: how can you have 2 champions in middle weight at the same time.. And how did St. Pierre manage to lose his title if his BJJ style was so superior to everyone else’s

Phil 01-23-2008 03:41 PM

I heard Randy Couture likes to eat Chinese food, does that make him Chinese?

No idiot, they are MMA fighters, the most superior submission style is BJJ. That is why almost everyone trains it.

Wrong again. It is not popular because before 1993, no one cared about grappling till the most dominant submission grappling style came on the scene with Ultimate Fighting Championship One. It is called BJJ or Brazillian Jiu Jitsu.

Sambo had the same amount of chance to shine in the early days as BJJ, Oleg Taktarov represented well. Still everyone learned BJJ, not Sambo.

So you rest your laurels on ONE fighter. I consider him one of the best Heavyweights ever for MMA. Because that's what he does moron, MMA. One day Fedor will lose, and then there goes all your fucking Sambo Pride! haha

That's because St. Pierre is the UFC Welterweight Champion, and I forgot to list him as such.

As for him loosing his title, he lost his title to Matt Serra, a BJJ BLACK BELT! ROFLMAO, it's like shooting fish in a barrel with you Camo, your ignorance about a sport you take great "PRIDE" in being an expert in is just appalling.

Btw, St. Pierre is Champ again.

Takes so little to piss you off. Name calling.. I can see you fingers getting sweaty when I talk about BJJ.
When Fedor loses then we’ll talk. For now go on with “could’ve, would’ve riddle”.. half of the guys you listed here lost fights at one point of their carrier. Probably because BJJ is so fucking superior. Oh, and randys Wrestling style has nothing to do with winning. Its all because BJJ..

Weak as puppy piss.

Randy Coture got subbed by BJJ Black Belt Enson Inoue at Vale Tudo Japan 1998 by arm bar while in Enson's guard.

From that day on, Randy has trained exstensively in submission, notably BJJ.

Randy's BJJ has become soo good since 10 years ago when he got subbed, he had a grappling match with JACARE, and tied him. JACARE is a legendary BJJ Black Belt.

Stop calling me names, it hurts my feelings! pfft. Now Takhtarov isn't Russian! aaaaaaaahahahahahahahah

Royce Gracie came on the International Scene in 1993. Besides him, there was nobody. Royce spoke better english though, I bet. So two years of a head start, and BJJ PWNS Sambo. Is that what you are saying?! :1orglaugh

As for no Sambo schools before 1995, you are full of shit. There were probably more Sambo schools in the USA than BJJ schools before 1993.

So, what's the problem, why didn't your Sambo take off? hahaha

I find it hilarious that you of all people taking offense about arguing in a civilized manner!!!

FEDOR LOST DUE TO A CUT. IT'S AN OFFICIAL RECORD.

TKO DUE TO CUTS.

TKO = CANNOT CONTINUE TO FIGHT

Gay syndrome much? How often do you think and post about other men's cocks?

Nothing wrong with it, just an observation.

I guess it's the best you can do when hit with MMA FACTS, and not your personal feelings on the subject.

Phil 01-23-2008 04:56 PM

couldn't put it all together all at once???
take a chill pill.
TKO stands for "can not continue to fight" bwaaaaaaaa...
get the fuck out of here..

Goddamn obtuse. TKO = Technical Knock Out = Cannot Continue Fighting, used in cases as in cuts, broken limbs, etc.

So much for your knowledge of the fight game.

Coup D'etat 01-23-2008 05:44 PM

^^Actually fedor got the cut 30 seconds into the fight. Normally that would be considered a no contest, not a loss. But since it was a tournament fight, somebody had to go through the next round so they granted his opponent the TKO win. Fedor later rematched that guy and pummeled him to death, just to make a point. If you had seen the fight you would know that the guy kind of scratched him and they had to stop it because of the rules (he was bleeding out of his forehead, obscuring the vision). Nobody considers that a loss and it is only counted in his record because of the odd circumstances. So, essentially he is still undefeated. :upsidedow

there we go. now you talking. He had no limbs, he wasn't in submission. You know its bullshit loss. Im talking about real loss. He destroyed Kohsaka in his rematch. When they stopped Nogueira fightv they made them fight again because everyone knew who fedor was. That early cut whas nothing but horseshit call and you know it.

Don’t bother. He’ll nerver admit it.. If it was bjj fighter he would find millions of excuses for’em. He knows which style dominates now days. He’s just jealous he picked the other one. But I can’t blame him, it was the cool thing to do. Kinda like getting kiss tattoo in 1980’s

Oh I watched the fight, I know exactly what happened. His opponent, TK isn't anywhere near Fedor's skillset. I just bring it up to piss off Camokat, which it has done exceedingly. :)

Nonetheless, technicalities aside, it is listed officially as a LOSS.

Fedor had another fight where he was cut, and that was ruled a NO CONTEST, that cut being even worse than the one he got against TK.

Good too see another real fan of the fight game, and not another poseur like camokat who can only scream out "Fedor Rules J00" and thinks watching pride is some sort of testament of fact.

I could give two shits what you two are arguing about. Thats what I love about MMA, you get to see what happens when you put a great Muay Thai guy up against a BJJ practitioner, or whatever.

In MMA who wants to be strictly any school anymore? Everyone seems to be moving to a more rounded approach. Just being a strictly stand up guy will get your ass taken to the ground and submitted, just being a ground artist will get you kicked in the face. Im stating the obvious. Ill shut up.

MetaMan 01-23-2008 06:16 PM

Jeff Monson is a beast, and it's great to see him come back to ATT's main academy in South Florida to train for his fights. Really nice guy.

No, you are making excellent points! YOu won't find single styles much anymore, which was exciting back in the day.

As for the argument, Camo just needs reality in his life. MMA training is striking (Muay Thai, Boxing), Wrestling (Greco, CACC, Freestyle), and Submission (BJJ). Those styles listed are the dominant ones trained by the majority of MMA fighters.

Dumbass

Grapling is grapling, no matter what you call it.

Submission wrestling, BJJ, Sambo and others kind of grapling arts all have something called an Armbar... guess what, it's sill a fucking arm bar no matter what you practice !

In St-Pierre's last fight he used a judo trip... Guess what ? He learned it from the canadian national wrestling team, not a judoka.

Arts are crossing over, and 'the best thing' dosen't existed. What is more suited for your style does.

If you look at credentials has an edge over Sambo, by a long stretch. Other then Fedor, Aleks and 2 other russian dudes, no one were succesfull in MMA from a sambo background.

MMA as a whole evolves so rapidly, that it's separated itself from specific matial arts and become the ultimate form of martial arts in itself.

We are not arguing bro.. can’t you tell im just lining him up for another pissing contest. Its so easy with him. All you have to do is say that BJJ is not the most dominant art and he goes apes hit. Look at every other topic that Anthony was involved. He’s legendary for that. He has some crone job running on his computer that checks for terms BJJ, brazil, jui jitsu, sambo and so on..
