How many people got sick AFTER they got back from Vegas?
 

I got back on Wednesday and since Thursday I have felt like complete shit. A few other people Ive talked to said the same thing. Not sure if its the flu or what, but I havent been able to really get of the couch or out of bed for almost the entire weekend.

I did not get it but I know many who did.... crazy shit. We should all carry masks and hand sanitizer.

funny thing is one of the first nights we were there, my friend and I were headed over to the circle bar at the venetian and saw some middle aged lady walking around with a sars mask... i think she had a good idea

The Vegas Flu is legendary... Luckily I was already sick getting into Vegas, so by the time I got better (2nd day of AEE) I think I was immune.

It's common to catch some sort of flu/virus when in Vegas largely due to the enormous amounts of people coming and going everyday from all parts of the world. That combined with a decrease in the immune system from travel, lack of sleep etc. and it really is a perfect breeding ground for flu-like viruses. :warning

yep. 36 million a year, all bringing their asian bird flu, sars and the clap into the city and leaving it behind.

Not everything going in Vegas stays in Vegas.

I saw lots of SARS masks in Vegas... been a couple years haha.

I started pushing the vitamins and taking Airborne 3 days before Vegas. While there I used hand sanitizer every time I thought of it and drank alot of water.

Other than feeling tired for a few days, I've been fine.

I got sick the first two times I went to Vegas, the last two times I went, I tried something different... I drank a bunch of screwdrivers (Orange Juice / vitamin C) Made sure I drank airborne every morning and / or when I went to bed. and had a pocket of those halls vitamin C candies in my pocket to suck on. Who knows if its why... But besides being a tad tired, I feel perfect. So I swear by it!

Carmen got sick the day after we got back, this morning I woke up congested and feeling like shit. I was up for about 2 hrs before I felt like I needed a nap.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that I dont get sick.

I got sick as well, still don't feeling really good right now

I got sick on Tuesday, and by the time I got home that night I had a fever of 103. It stuck with me until Thursday when it dropped to just above normal, then Friday I was dragged out and tired but no more fever.

Whatever was going around there in Vegas was pretty fucking nasty.

its a sign of your health, unfortunately.

since i went vegan and cut out all soda, meat etc well over a year ago ... i havent been sick. I have more energy, i get 100% of my nutrition needed, I even cut out RedBull!

My whole family was sick for xmas - I made it out without a cold or flu etc...

if you get sick easily, pay attention to your health, because healthy peoples body fights it off more effectively.

Yea, it was the 1st show in 3 years that I brought the crud back and it sucks... :pimp

it might be the overfatigue that is causing the sickness, could be the abrupt sleeps and over activities which causes your system to slowdown and body can't anymore recover...anyway, drink fruit juices and lotza water :)

OMG, got SO sick !! I had bronchitis, caught this during the show and ended up staying in bed with bad fever the whole last day. I was OUT.

I don't have to tell you, my flight back was HELL. I just wanted to get home as fast as I could.

Got antibiotics last tuesday, and now, I should be allright. 'Still coughing and sneezing but no fever. Finally !!!

I am not going to turn this thread into a vegetarian discussion, but I gave up red meat long long long before I became a full vegetarian.

meat makes people sick, not here to argue it i was just posting my personal opinion on it, and how i combat it. Ive given up many things to make myself as healthy as i can be. Meat being one of them.

I am borderline mysophobe, meat carries many many germs. Which is why it HAs to be cooked, but most dont cook sandwich meat, and its filled with germs ;)

meat eaters in general are much more unhealthy when compared to a full nutrition vegetarian like me, thats all - there is no debate.

the proof is in the health statistics of america, i thought youd be first one to point to American obesity lol

I normally end up sick after returning home from Vegas, but was ok on my last visit a few months ago thankfully...

I'm really really sick. Really bad.

I got wicked sick the day i left. Wiped me out for 3 days, and i am still recovering.

I was slightly sick when I left for vegas... I felt borderline the entire time there but kept myself going with booze.. Soon as I got home I died for 3 days straight...

Every year when I get back from Vegas I am out sick for at least a day or two. This year was the worst tho..

I got back tuesday, by thursday I was full blown feeling like shit.. I was sweating, shaking, had chills then hot flashes.. It was NOT FUN AT ALL..

Seems like this is a common thing every time I goto vegas...

My g/f went to Vegas with mild bronchitis, and I've been sick as a dog since I got home. Terrible head cold!

Heck I felt fine except for my feet were hurting a but, I live here so I am immune to the Vegas flu.

It IS cold and flu season to boot.....

The flu was out in full force this show. I got so sick I had to stay an extra day. High fever, aches, headache from hell, cough, sore throat, runny nose. It hit Tuesday night and today is the first day I have woke up fever free. Then Saturday my fiance comes down with it and he never, ever gets sick. This is indeed nasty, nasty stuff. I am still wondering if it is going to turn into bronchitis with me.

I got back Wednesday night and BAM this is what I have + a shoulder/neck/chest muscle ache I can't get rid of.

We're monday and my ears are about to explode, my voice sounds like a tranny and if I had nothing that is pressing, I'd be sleeping no doubt.

I slept more in the past few days than I do in a normal 1.5 week period. All I'm missing is a stomache flu and I'll have had it all this time around. :helpme

I'm still sick.. hit me HARD wednesday night, was really bad for 3 days and still sucks a little.

I know quite a few friends that returned sick. I guess I am glad we did not go.
