To answer the question, most likely, just not in 2008.

If the Democrats don't get it together they will most likely be looking at 2016 before he has a shot at it.

I think you're right about 2016, but because another Dem will be in for 2 terms starting with the '08 election.

It's really sad to say that this is very possible.

To be honest, I'm surprised no one has made an attempt yet.

There's going to be a lot happening at the Democratic convention because none of the candidates will have the nomination sewed up, which is true for the Republicans as well. I think Edwards will wind up with the nomination.

The Democratic nominee will win the general election.

Personally, if the Republicans nominate Giuliani, Romney or Thompson I will vote for someone else.

If Huckabee or McCain is the Republican nominee then I am not sure how I will vote. Plus, there's always a chance for an independent candidate that I may prefer.

How I vote and who wins may be different. Just because I think a Democrat will win the election does not mean that I will vote for them.

I would love to see Edwards get the nod. If Clinton or Obama gets it, you can probably bet the farm on the Republicans winning, no matter who it is.

I think people will vote for any Democrat rather than a Republican due to Bush's administration, much like they voted for Carter in response to Watergate and Nixon accomplished much more than Bush has done.
