My wife usually buys my girlfriends gift. And my girlfriend does the shopping for my wife. So I never know what I got them until they open their gifts.

1. how long have you been dating? this matters b/c if it's new then you can't buy her jewellry b/c you're showing you care more than you do..or you're showing her that you're serious. On the other hand if it's long term g/f, then jewellry is fine BUT NEVER buy her a ring cuz the box will make her think IT'S THE RING.

2. What ar you trying to convey with the gift? spending too much makes her think you are getting serious but spending a reasonable amt keeps her in limbo and that way if she fucks off it's not a huge waste of $$ lol
