Someone did do this to me (Maxim competitor) and your lawyer would be incapable of attempting to run a successful copyright case. The ones that know what they are doing (there aren't many of them) quoted me $250K for a reasonable attempt. Copyright violations aren't slam-dunk cases. Why do you think Pirate Bay gets away with what they do? As do all the tube sites and torrents, etc.

Not a big fan of Rob, but what does that have to do with saying common sense things about this being an idiotic thing to do? (you get a gold star for the obvious though)
Yes I understand copyright law pretty well (probably better than you). TV stations would be in deep water if your thoughts held up... I bet their attorneys are pretty damn knowledgeable about copyright. Try reading up on it, it's worth it before you make statements. Commenting on the news is well within copyright exclusions (i would bet that blogging would fall under this).
Whomever Brian is, I honestly couldn't give a shit.
Enjoy your puckering up and kissing ass... you all have him on a pedestal high enough so it should be easy to accomplish. Don't forget to use lip balm though, it helps with the chapping.
And with that I am done... feel free to hate on me. It will help to deflect from the real idiot in this whole situation.
