I think you should worry about your grammar instead.

MikeVega 11-09-2007 01:51 PM

looks good to me .. it has everything i would need but I'm not a big video / audio guy.

JFK 11-09-2007 01:52 PM

sounds like a deal, but I'd much prefer to see the colours on a set in a store:winkwink:

i agree tottally...they carry them at costco so im gonna check it out there..Also if you the customer doenst actually play with the tv setting yourself theres a good chance you will be basing your desicion on the TV that the store wants you to buy ..the one they setup perfect while the others are always sligtley off tune :2 cents:

fris 11-09-2007 01:57 PM

60" is too small

vizio are ok tv's but def not top of the line. You will see a diff in pic and color quality with other brands

If you do buy one make sure to get the extended warranty

I just paid sears 500.00 to fix my HDTV today cause the inverter board broke and I didnt get the extended warranty

When shit breaks on these things it costs a fortune

Domains_Broker 11-09-2007 02:11 PM

I have the 50", paid $1250 for it 8 months ago. I am very happy with it. HD picture is amazing.
I've seen the 42" vizio's going super cheap though, like $450... so if it were me, I'd rather have 2 42" inchers and still save $750

MediumPimpin 11-09-2007 02:11 PM

It is 720 DPI, you really need to get a 1080, I just got a 65" Plasma.

But hell for that price why not!

Yeah i thought vizio was a bottom line brand too..but then i talked to a friend who installs them for a living...he said vizio is the best hes seen as far as picture and as far as breakdown...he said thats because vizio doenst make anything else but plasma and lcd's:2 cents:

warranties i always get fucked on...either they dont cover my problem..or the cost to fix is like 100 bucks more than what the warranty would have cost me:1orglaugh

AaronM 11-09-2007 02:23 PM

FYI...I have a 1080I Vizio. It's the biggest piece of shit TV I have ever owned and it's being replaced as soon as I get back from LA.

Well like I said I have a 50" LG plasma 780 dpi for the last 2 years and it's great, then I put the 65" Panasonic plasma in it place and...

HOLLY SHIT MAN,

The difference is like VHS to DVD, night and day.

gornyhuy 11-09-2007 02:24 PM

Get at 1080 ... and get a DLP.
But based on my own painful experience and that of HORDES of others online, do not get a Toshiba.

MediumPimpin 11-09-2007 02:24 PM

Also Panasonic has a 58" 1080 Plasma for 3,500.00 it's a pretty good deal.

They're all 1080i, go with the new Vizio ones that are 1080p and you'll get the better HD picture.

jakethedog 11-09-2007 06:20 PM

I personally like rear projection LCD ... use less power.. I have a 60" Hitachi "Ultravison" and I am finding them for cheaper and cheaper every day ...

Whatever dude.

I mis-spoke earlier when I said I had a 1080I....I have a Vizio 1080 whatever the fuck it is LCD and IT'S A PIECE OF SHIT.

1080I, 1080P, 8x10, or whatever. If it says Vizio on it then it's crap.

That's what I thought. The equivalent Sony was a grand more. Now I see why and it's worth the extra.
