Oh, I get that. You just want to get in, get the contnet you need and gat back to your real life. Cracks me up when I meet people that are all about the fantasy or shooting... not understanding that it's actually a lot of work. Hell, I spend so much time looking though the camera I don't even really care what else is going on... Your not thinking... "wow she's hot" etc... Your thinking, hmm. I wonder if that light is good, or where can aI stand to fill the frame better of damn I need to have you move this or that out of the way... nothing at all erotic about it. Then that part of the shoot is over and you spend your time dumping cards, going over the images to make sure you got what you came for and cooling down cause those lights are so fucking hot. By the time you done with that it's time to resetup and go again.

When it's all said and done, after the shoots over, you sit around and chat a little about a part that seemed better than the others, show the model a little of what you captured, let her know that she did a great job and your on your way to do somehting else.

The REAL enjoyment comes from when you grap that "perfect" image... the one that really makes people go wow. That's what makes it all worth with for me.

I really enjoy shooting up to " Playboy style " pictures but I have no desire to shoot hardcore porn. I think that shooting hardcore all the time would eventually desensitize my feelings for women which goes against the very reason I wanted to photograph women in the first place which was to heighten the senses and increase the desire of the viewer towards them.

But surprisingly that didn't happen to me, like Greco told few posts above, when you shoot you get things to think about other than managing your wood :1orglaugh

I wasn't talking about being turned on while taking pictures. I'm well aware of the mechanics during a shoot.

What I was trying to say was that for me personally, if I was constantly exposed to women who were willing to do just about anything on film for almost any reason it would probably effect the way I would view all women in general.

you have to create the opportunity with goals and objectives in mind, just as any other business. yes it is work, and if you are not good at handling people forget it.. you have to find a soft balance between giving orders and sweet talk to get what you want/need. It takes some getting used to..
