You can easily get the poll results yo want by who you choose to poll. So you want it to say that more Americans support it.. Then you do most of your polling in "heart land" bible thumping areas. The typical right wing base supporters, that think they have to support what the govt says or they aren't true Americans.

If you want a poll that shows most Americans don't support it.. Well then you poll in mostly city areas where the bigger populations are more liberal minded.

This just cannot be a very accurate poll. I can't imagine that many of my fellow Americans are that stupid or afraid. I think they polled a church congregation way back out in the woods for those results.
