TopBucks is so stupid
TopBucks just closed my account because "ccbill has detected some fraudulent practices BUT can't give further detail"
I don't believe that, but if it's true: Get rid of CCBILL and protect your webmasters if you want to stay in the game and continue to make money from your webmasters!! And this after a few weeks ago TopBucks legal department threaten me to remove their videos from my website because they were the legal owners of the material. I WAS ONLY USING the short clips in the affiliates are to PROMOTE your websites, morons!! Just wanted to let everyone know TopBucks is going down |
In case you didn't know that already
|
Cat, affiliate fraud is so prevalent in this industry that you should feel good about this situation. This kind of proactive initiative is what makes your business more stable in the long term.
I am sure that Top Bucks would welcome you back as an affiliate if you are able to work this out with CCBill. |
Topbucks is one of the oldest and biggest sponsors around, wtf are you going to do???

no I don't run a torrent site, do you ?
it proved the legal dept made a mistake about that |
Got anyone that can vouch for you? Sponsors do not drop affiliates that are making them money.
Are you a carder? |

My Topbucks account is a revenue stream for them. Yours, by your own words, is an expense. |
They are going down? What do you base that on? Because they canned you? You obviously didnt think that before as you wouldnt promote a company that goes down right? So basically after they closed your account you feel its right to claim they are doing down??
You sound like a real bright person. |
TopBucks isn't going anywhere, moron :)

Tell a scammer how he got caught, and all you've done is make someone more efficient at scamming the next time around.
If you're an innocent party caught in the fray, contact your accusers and work it out with them... there are some legitimate practices that reflect as fraudulent when you look at the data - and everyone in such a position to make those calls knows that... so if you're truly innocent, plead your case to them, and - so long as you're shooting straight - the data backs up what you have to say and you should be able to get things taken care of, I'd think. This isn't Ma&Pa's processing that's found you at probable fault... it's an established name in the industry... work it out with them. |
Good advice up there.

CCBIll is Terrible and Topbucks is going down. Why do I think everything in that statement is totally false?
|
You must have been doing something wrong, a big sponsor will not close an account of a profitable affiliate...

The only thing that I don't understand is why should I deal with a sponsor's processor ? I don't care who they use to process or how they do it, all I know is that I signed up with TopBucks and not ccbill and that they HAVE all the info (ref codes) to talk to ccbill as long as I told them I'm an honest webmaster Maybe ccbill tells me to talk to the abusing visitors and get things straight with them and if they promise no to do it again I will be let back in |
i'd love to hear the other side of this story.
|
why do scammers always insist on coming to the boards and making fools of themselves?

catalin - First and foremost, Topbucks is not going anywhere. Aside from your particular case - there have been hundreds perhaps thousands of affiliates that were shutdown for fraud and yet they (Topbucks) are still prospering in the industry and growing month by month, year to year.
Your insinuation that they shut you down to cut costs is ridiculous, sorry. I don't know what the situation is - but I assure you that in cases of fraud, they don't see all the details, hence, they can't offer you more details either. Once the biller says to shut you down - it's in their best interest to follow their order - because any transaction by you will not be accepted by them. I hope that clarifies the situation for you. |
Shit happens, get a new sponsor, and move on.
Right or wrong, there is nothing you can do. |

Not Topbucks fault. The billing company will not give the program any info due to privacy issues. Happens all the time. The billers are the issue not the programs. The program can't do a thing, the biller blocks your id. Even if topbucks wanted to take sales from your account they can't and any transactions in that account get refunded to prevent chargebacks. What can I say Life isn't fair.

i just wanted to get my sig in on this!

How about you stop doing fraudulent activities?

If any sponsor program dumps a biller because they can't give information due to privacy issues on FRAUDULENT transactions - then, quite frankly, I wouldn't promote them because obviously, they have their priorities fucked. As for your previous question: Topbucks is a tightly run ship - with highly intelligent people at the reins. Before Topbucks goes down - 98% of the companies will be 6 feet under for about two years before them - that's how solid I KNOW they are. |
Every week we have affilaites shut down by Epoch or CCBill.... And I'm glad. if your an affiliate and your being shut down.... Your doing something wrong.
