There is a protest today starting in 14 minutes on the university campus where that took place. A couple of the officers claim they suffered injuries in that scuffle too. Kinda sad when 4 or 5 trained police can't even subdue a single whack job without resorting to a tazer. In fact it's impossible, not sad. They didnt need to taser him. Wrong as he was, he was completely, 100% already under the officers control.43-922-863 Shut up and play your guitar.

He knew he was being escorted out NOT being arrested. Yet he decided to resist his removal from the area.

Yeah but when you have 4 or 5 officers, trained in their job, and the man is on the ground already, is it then ok to torture him with a taser? How is that permissible? Did it help somehow? Nicole, listen to this. ANDREW BROKE INTO THE ROOM DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE SPEECH. The police followed him in and attempted to bring him out PRIOR to his rant, however Kerry said that he could stay and ask his question. He then proceeded to force someone else off the microphone and rant. Andrew was NOT searched in any way (it is standard to be searched before attending a high level speech of any kind) becuase he had evaded police in the lobby. The video's do not show this. The LEO's had no idea if he had a weapon of any kind.
Chris- How would you feel if you were in an audience and a crazed man waving a book broke in through the doors halfway through the Q and A period. Then that man forces another person off the microphone and begins to rant. The officers were acting in the best interests of everyone because andrew had NOT been searched because he evaded the police to get into the room.IF you weren't there, this is not the whole story. I was there, watched the Youtube video and read the paper.
If I wasnt there 100% I would have sympathy for him from what I've seen, but I was there and saw the entire thing start to finish and say he was out of line and disruptive and warned numerously.
I've read all these people WHO WERE THERE yesterday saying they support UPD and people WHO WERE NOT THERE saying they support Andrew Meyer
