The only logical choice for paid professionals:

Comus and TM3

(in no way is this meant to personally endorse Tony, I mean the product only).

I'd like to learn more about TGPs.

Do surfers provide the content, or is it all FHGs from sponsors? If it is surfer provided, how do you comply with 2257?

Perhaps someone could post a list of the top TGP sites today. I'd like to have a look.

Definition: TGP (Thumbnail GIF Post) is a website that hosts free porn pics or links to free sex pics.
Sorry, can't use that. Most of my images are .jpg. Some are movie clips .wmv and .mpg.

Can someone post a list of the top TGJWMP sites please?

Iron Fist 09-08-2007 10:56 AM

Upgraded from AutoGallery SQL to TGPX and lost all 15,000 galleries in the database (no thumbnails, then after a gallery rebuild, no galleries that didn't have thumbs).... this is going to take like 6 months to fully rebuild again.... FUCKING SUCKS!!!!

Thank god I also do freesites that don't use any scripts and are all hardcoded images and links or else I'd be out cold.

Viper2K1 09-08-2007 12:13 PM

anybody know of a tgp script that can have both a thumbnail version AND text version categorized archive pages?

it seems it can't be done with autogallery SQL
it can do a number of archive pages per category with thumbs, but can't have it output a second batch of archive pages per category with just textlinks

Yeah but it must be a problem with the conversion tool... I did it twice and it fucked up twice... I don't care really - i'ts not like im not prepared to lose absolutely everything in a flash - I am which is kinda wierd.

Anyways.... after week or two my main tgps are back online and my secondary ones are slowly being re-populated with galleries...

It's not a big deal.. seriously. Most new sites I make now are static sites... TGPs are too much damn work (in terms of time invested to payoff)

:(

But I would not change scripts on any established TGP's :2 cents:

Wouldn't it be easier to create new TGP's and use your established domains to help build traffic?

MrVids 09-08-2007 01:39 PM

VanillaTGP w/out a doubt. I know there are a lot of smart thumbs fans, I tried it and didn't really care for it myself, though I didn't find it a bad script, just didn't work the way I wanted it too.

Vanilla was a steep learning curve to be sure, and I'm holding my breath for version 2.0. I re-launched SweetCollegeGirls on it back in July and recently launched CutieVids.com on it a couple week ago.

Pleased as punch with the product.

I also own TGPX which is a nice script as well.

I used Comus back in the day and I will use one word to sum it up (circa 2003), inefficient. Maybe its changed since then?

I love the guy that suggest TM3 for traffic, that's cute :).

The two _current_ major players for traffic scripts right now would be TradeExpert.net and ArrowScripts.com. I have copies of both. TE is a great script but the admin seems slow. It has a ton of functionality but I honestly won't be investing the time to get into it and figure out all the features. I have other things to do ;). So I'll stick with ATX on all my new sites (and most of my old). Great support and a really nice piece of code.

AGS sure will do that. You can mix and match thumbs and text links on a single page, or create some thumb pages, some text pages, etc.

I have AGS making RSS feeds, and I have it doing a Pic of the Day by sponsor.

For the last couple years I had been using Comus, Smart, and more recently Rotator, across several domains. After I tried Tgpx I scrapped all my other scripts and now use only Tgpx. Fucking fantastic script. The support is nothing short of superb. If you like Comus or Smart, you will shit yourself with Tgpx.
