Westvleteren Abt 12 ( Belgium) is ( i hear ) the best around.
My personnal favorite is the "Mort Subite Faro" American beers suck ass.. they dont have any taste whatSoever! |
I ll have to try carlsberg
|
My favorites are two local micros. McAusland's Oatmeal Stout used to be #1 until Unibroue came out with Chambly Noire.
In the US so far there's Sierra Nevada (Cali), Blackened VooDoo and Abita (Louisiana) and Samuel Adams (Mass). I like beers with serious hop accents. |

Allright,
as far as I am a native from the country that consumes the most beer per person in the world and have drinked probably 100 000 gallons of beer in the past ten years (still able to keep in shape, study college and earn money), I consider myself to be an expert: http://www.budweiser.cz/en/img/web/P...mavy-lezak.jpg the latest from the Budweiser - dark, very smooth and tasty http://www.budweiser.cz/img/web/Prod.../bud-lahev.jpg Here is the Bud Superstrong - very bitter, tasty and kicking the party well with 7,6 pct. vol http://www.budweiser.cz/img/web/Prod...ak/krouzek.jpg Here is the twelve grader on tap - very tasty but also very heavy, I recommend not to mix with anything else That would be the top three in my book, btw. Budweiser makes more than 50 pct. for Export and should be distributed by Anheuser Busch in Us under the brand "CZECHVAR" :2 cents: |

A few favorites for me, Alexander Keiths, any Belgian beer pretty much and I'm really into the whole brew-your-own thing now.

I know its different ends of the spectrum, but for #1 Yuengling is great, but Stella Artois has been growing on me recently too.

And it's only a couple of restaurants where you can get a good one on tap, they got the biggest market share and then started to fuck the beer up to earn a little bit more by cutting the costs - and it's a true crime as they are fucking up one of the most traditional products this country has to offer. :2 cents: Budweiser will be the same, till it's owned by government noone has any need to earn more on brewing fucked up beer, but once it will be privatised - the last great beer will be gone. |
corona with a lime :thumbsup

Alright you foreign bastards, there's more to American beer than Budlight, which I drink sometimes but usually go for Miller Lite when drinking like that.
For a good beer, Sam Adams is good on tap Pyramid or Widmeir is good shit too. Pretty much everything brewed in the Northwest is good shit. |
|
there are some beers i never heard off
|
usually go for a corona
