how do you make money at this?

how do you avoid bandwidth?

I think his point is that the redtube owner shouldnt be making anything off stolen content to begin with, not actually asking how.

YouTube clone scripts are easy to find, anyone can do it, but unless its amateur unlicensed content or content you paid for, you should get called out, your sponsors should withhold payments, and the webmaster should be blacklisted.

redtube is easy. If you have material on there, DMCA hahahahahaha, namecheap, and whoisguard. Make sure you send them registered mail.

I am sure your material will be removed rapidly (if they want to keep their domain).

From www.fivestarmedia.com you see RedTube listed with other sites such as StarPoker which has a webmaster link going http://www.jpds.com/inside/?ref=2 and then if you click the affiliate link it goes to Bloom Cash which has a contact page but it is an email form with no names. However, if you go to www.jpds.com and click on contact you get a business name, address and phone number.

Ripshit is a spet up from your regular spammer. Most of the time you wouldn't even tell his spam. Smart puppy, but not as smart as he would have hoped...

Parent company Five Star Media just announced that Redtube is up for sale.

Some one posted this on another board, but he hit the nail on the head in my opinion. The answer was actually very simple stop by those sites every day and download like crazy. Or even better,one of you script guru's can come up with something that will download and then delete while we sleep.

not sure what redtube is using for outbound but whoopa does have Hurricane electric in their mix which you can get for 5/Mbps on anything over 1Gbps, i'm sure they have a 10GE circuit or two. A site like redtube can probably easily burn 500Mbps so even at 7/Mbps only 3700/month isn't a bad deal. Due to streaming technologies and buffering you do not need premium bandwidth when streaming videos.

You would never need premium bandwidth. Youtube operates partly on 30Gbps of cogent bandwidth. Technology today is great, you can turn up a 10GE circuit in minutes using DWDM between locations.
