Funny how so many SEO experts sell you the knowledge to earn THOUSANDS of dollars, for only $50. Makes you wonder. Are any of your relatives from Nigeria?

Actually all that "SEO optimizations" are really work but they could be easily done for free by anyone who is able to use various online SEO checking tools like "SEO Text Browser" by http://whois.domaintools.co and similars. The standard blog optimization package is easy as ABC - just install free SEO wordpress plugins (All-In-One-SEO, Google Maps, Tag Warrior etc), alter the necessary description, keywords when analyze it with SEO checkers. That's it!

In general, it really works and could bring you about 100SE hits a day even without internal PR links. But it wont make your blog really profitable however. To get really good SE traffic, you'll need to do something more:
1) Get as more as possible incoming PR links from other resources in a same niche.
2) Regularly update your blogs with quality and rich content, or use morphing tools to modify the syndicated feeds (one should never use unmodified feeds!)

The (1) and (2) are much more important that all the SE optimization tricks together. You may have a blog even without descriptions and/or keywords, but it will bring you 1000's of SE hits every day if your blog has a rich and unique content + regular updates.

Another way to increase your traffic are bookmarkers. You have to add some attractive features to make the ppl get back daily, e.g. daily/hourly rotating thumbnails, pics of the day, jokes, online games etc.

Nobody will what? Post a good money term that has a wordpress blog holding one of the top 5 spots. And that isnt just a 3-4 day appearance. Nobody can because none of them do.

Everyone is on this big kick about how good they are for se's. Is there a serp someone can show that isnt a search like "bree sucks fat schlong" (like big fuckin deal if your blog ranks for that).

Ive been runnin the fuck out of blogs since befor they were called blogs, and i use them lots, but i also know the negatives they have. I know what they do well and what not so well. Holding rank in the engines is NOT a strong point.

So again, any big terms out there that a wordpress log holds?

I'm doing a bit different way with my blogs. They (the blogs themselves) don't have high ranks in Google's serps, but the links to paysites with my ref codes do. I.e. I'm using blogs to get higher ranks for the targeted keywords. And sure I won't post those keywords here. I thought it's obvious why.

Ok, one example: Do a search for "little lupe", a really famous solo girl. All top results are wordpress blogs. Not a good term ? Well, I had the #1 spot for it, it's worth 10+ signups a day, so I'd call it a good term.

In general, the strength of wordpress blogs for SEO is the ability to create huge networks filled with keyword specific content in no time. Wildcard subdomains (or even automated domain registration, .info's are cheap), wpmassinstaller, feeds and the tools to rewrite them, good keyword lists and analysis tools. I personally don't care for terms like "free porn", it's not about trophy terms, it's about ranking well for thousands of long tails terms with low competition, but the numbers add up. 100 hits from 2k searchterms a day is better than 200k from one. Why ? Because long tail keyword traffic is more targetted. With the right plugins and tools, wordpress is a very powerful CMS.

A general misconception in SEO is that people think they need to go for trophy terms to make loads of money. Why fight for a single term many people go for if there is so much $$$ just waiting to be picked up the easy way ?
