My parents were kind enough to give me their old 1980 beat up chevy step side pickup. It was very similar to this one, but nowhere near the condition of this one (i wish it was LOL!)

I was so happy to have transportation I could care less what I drove, most people in those days dreamt about just getting a hyundai pony to bounce around in haha! These days it seems like most 16 year old kids are getting new cars from their parents or they don't get their licenses at all?

1988 Dodge Lancer Shelby Turbo.
It was a sleeper car that would eat Mustangs for breakfast. It was always a pure joy to smoke some douche in a Mustang with my 4 door Chrysler sedan.

1970 Datsun 510 wagon owned by ex olympic Bicyclist John Howard.. bought it from his wife for $500. My brother destroyed it, I went back to motorcycles for a few more years.

1967 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 w/325 HP Stock Engine. Went to the credit union with my dad an got the loan for $1000 to buy it. :thumbsup

This was exactly what I had. Fire engine red with a black vinyl roof and black leather interior... and these cars had automatic transmissions.
