My daughter is 10 months old. She was born with congenital cataracts and has very poor vision. She was practically blind until she was 4 months old when they did the first surgery.

One day a lady at work found out that I sold porn online and she asked me if I ever thought that the reason she was born with cataracts and has very poor vision is because I sold porn online. Because of the things I put out there for people to see.

My girlfriends fathers girlfriend said the same shit to her tonight.

interesting - I know a man of god who after 4 kids one turned out to be mentally handicapped. I can never say that once in the 30 years I have known him has he been unfaithful but a strong believer in God and walked the walk. I would think if that nurse and your friend took at look at his life, they would find NO wrong.

Best wishes to you and to your daughter. I have a niece that is down's syndrome and her parents are highly religious. You obviously know that these ignorant people have no clue and were just spouting hate speech. There is nothing more you can say than it's terrible you had to go through that. They have no idea how difficult it is to raise a child that has challenges, then for someone to not be understanding to that situation. May they never have to live in your shoes because they wouldn't be strong enough to survive.
