Age of consent is determined by State. It's 14 in Hawaii and Pennsylvania. These change all the time.

Yeah, it doesn't work for all ages, but it isn't a bad guideline for determining if someone near-18 is off limits. I think above a certain age, that particular rule is more about "is this cool" than "is this moral"... and individual circumstances will obviously override any such rule of thumb.

The youngest I had was 14 when I was 15, those were the days. The best since then was 16 while I was 24.

i believe that the age of consent is 14.... there are also some caveats about being in a position of authority etc.... ie the 28 y.o. teacher of 14 year old would have a few problems.
