Probably The Sands last time I was there it was continously
packed with hot local women that go out there..... Every year we go to another Hotel....never the same twice.... DynaMite :thumbsup |
Ceasars was pretty nice, might do that again. :)
|
"Mandalay Bay" or Bellagio.
I keep trying new hotels too. Venetian was cool but it was like Disneyfication of Vegas. |

Monte Carlo or The Venetian

The Venitian is the ONLY place to stay for the shows.
Besides all the obvious reasons, the casino floor is laid out so that you can always find/bump into people you want to see. |
of course, the hosts do suck and its difficult to get anything done there.
but, ya live with some things., |
Bellagio or The Venitian
|
Venetian is it...

"the casino floor is laid out so that you can always find/bump into people you want to see."
12 Clicks, but they can find YOU! About that floor, I've noticed subliminal messages in the casino carpets, especially the older casinos. Real Vegas. The old circular pattern paisley carpets speak. The messages are clear. "Let it ride! Stay awake! Double down! Stay Awake!" The Casino goddess never loses. Not even for a day. She delivers every pleasure know to man but it costs. The orgiastic beast with the many featured mouth swallows coins and bills and sometimes, on the right day, an entire porn conference. I know. I was there that day. |
PornJester,
I remember this. A day last January. 6:30 am. Running around the floor of the Imperial Palace yelling "I'm drowning!" |
I'll be at the Venetian. Anyone down to share?:Graucho

Don't get me wrong. The Venetian is a swank hotel. Something is just not right about it though. It's like an Epcot mock-up of Venice. It lacks authenticity. I can't get rid of that nagging feeling that I am looking at a fake Venice. You know, the shopping area inside, the canals, and the molding in the rooms.
I lived in Orlando for ten years. This may explain my aversion to Disneyfication of Vegas. The Luxor, for example, is bad-ass looking from outside. It's completely surreal flying into Vegas at night and seeing a beam of light launch skyward from an desert pyramid. Like the Venetian, once inside there, I can't get rid of the feeling that I am in Epcot Egypt. All that being said, I love Vegas. It a great place to get completely fucked up and forget where I am. You can stay awake for three consecutive days just living off that casino air and never have to see the light of the day. I'm going to keep trying hotels. I haven't found mine yet. I did like the old-school Tropicana suites with the hot-tubs in them. |
Colin - I seem to remember some very surreal moments in the casino with you. I remember you thinking your head was melting.. very strange.. can't wait to do it again :thumbsup
|
I would have to say either the Luxor, or the Sands. I have a soft spot for the Bladerunner pyramid and the ancient egyptian themes of the Luxor... and the Sands is cool enough to attrack my friend Jen (http://www.jensex.com) all the way from LA... Any place where I can see women as sexy as Jen is alright by me.
|
Only one place...Bellagio..at the Fontana Bar..:thumbsup
|
Zebra,
I remember you and I waiting for the limo to go to the Player Hater's Ball. Suddenly we caught a wiff of something, an acrid sulfur-like smell and you said " It's from the sewers. It's Brimstone. Vegas is built right over Hell. Everyone here is one step away from Eternal Damnation." Now, THAT was surreal. I was all fucked up and it scared the shit out of me. |
I remember some other things too, Zebra. Much too dangerous and illegal to mention here. You have a reputation to uphold. I don't wanna be responsible for these fucking cannibals getting that kind of information. Blackmail is a horrible thing to waste.

12 clicks,
You're WELL over the age of consent. Don't worry, you can be "touched". |
Let's see .. where would I wanna be really fucked up at? Little surrealism mixed with shiny red noses. I might try Circus Circus this time.
|
Just be sure to avoid the hotels that offer free trials. The rebills are a bitch. ;)
|
Venitian
|
Colin - I remember things about you that are also best kept secret :winkwink:
Oh what fun we shall have in Vegas this January :1orglaugh |
Zebra,
I'm considering a Neon Jungle II. Casting rumors are that ScottP might make an appearance. Scary! |
This weekend? The Venetian
For the show? The Venetian :Graucho |
It depends. On if I 1) have money, and 2) have a roomie :D if I have neither, its Harrahs' (I wanna be within walking distance) If I have both, I wanna stay at the Venitian, where all the action is :-D
|
Colin, if you're not up for Neon Jungle II, I'd gladly step in for ya ;) (except Naked Josh, good god, buy that man some clothes....
I'll be camped snugly inside Casa De SykkBoy.....if it gets too crazy: Casa De SykkBoy's Couch or Casa De SykkBoy's No Good FatFuck Friend's Spare Bedroom With No TV Or Working Light Fixtures........ |
Venetian :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Sykk,
It is no coincidence that "Neon Jungle" and "Naked Josh" have the same initials. If he appears in the next version, he'll be fully clothed. I promise! You owe me a descent into Sykkboy's World for Neon Jungle II. I was so fucked up last time I couldn't coordinate. Rumor is Neon Jungle II will include some Sykkboy poetry. |
The Alladin, right across from Bellagio, has in room network connection for your laptop. I will never stay anywhere else again. Not too mention its a nice place.

Venetian

I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets a wierd vibe from these hotels... There's nothing like being watched by 5000 cameras...
The entire purpose of these places is to get you to spend as much money as possible -- don't sit down -- if you study the walls, they are designed so you can't lean on them (protruding molding)... They move you around like website traffic... take Treasure Island for example -- you think you are leaving the hotel -- next thing you know there are people behind you and you're stuck in line to watch some bullshit performance... you know why they do that? Probably so the hotel looks really busy from the outside... I hear they use blasts of air also to get you to move on or keep gambling or whatever... And what's with hotels that close the fucking pool at dawn...? The Hollywood show was so much more relaxing... lots of comfortable places to sit and chill and talk and the staff was more friendly. |
