well Obama is officially done

"The first-term Illinois senator said that with black people from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast still displaced 20 months after Hurricane Katrina, frustration and resentments are building explosively as they did before the 1992 riots."

Way to incite a racial riot Obama :thumbsup

I was going to vote for you, but now i can just see your another special interests puppet.

_Richard_ 06-06-2007 11:30 AM

ahhhhhh. not sure how he's inciting anything

KimJI 06-06-2007 11:31 AM

What is wrong is saying that? I would never vote for him if I was american, but I dont see the big problem in what he said. Some of the shit Rudy G. have let out is far worse than that

TubeTitans_SusieQ 06-06-2007 11:33 AM

I guess it's all in the way people just take it.

escorpio 06-06-2007 11:33 AM

Is the black community gearing up for another round of looting? If I owned a sneaker store I'd be worried.

Jimmy Rock 06-06-2007 11:47 AM

I think he's just stating the obvious

stev0 06-06-2007 11:47 AM

dude... they're ALL special interest puppets.

Fat Panda 06-06-2007 11:52 AM

when did he say that

Tom_PM 06-06-2007 11:53 AM

I notice they dont QUOTE him, they paraphrase. So who the hell knows what the actual question was, how it was phrased, what he actually said. The news lately is just spin packaged for entertainment value.

exactly

it's all a matter of voting for the guy with the same special interests as you ;-)
that's what I do...

will76 06-06-2007 11:54 AM

NO they are not he is playing politics. There is only a hand full of people who are displaced (almost 2 years later) that really still want to come back. Most people have moved on at this point. They found out that there are better schools and jobs in other cities than here. They have started new jobs, made new friends, etc... they happy where they are.

The democrats want them back because they want the votes. It's all politics. The black ministers want them back because it is more money in their collection baskets, the city wants them back because the more people living in it the more funding it can get. The actual people really don't give a fuck at this point *most* of them anyway. If you paid them to come back and gave them more free money then I am sure they would be rioting about it, but just to simply come back to shit, they don't want that.

It is far from how he makes it seem.

I heard he is a church member of one of the most racial (hate whites) black churches in the country. Anyone know anything about this.

TeenSluts 06-06-2007 11:58 AM

you think your typical american will vote for someone named obama? just a question...

StickyGreen 06-06-2007 12:04 PM

I ask that question all the time.

No person from the deep south will vote for him.

Phoenix 06-06-2007 01:15 PM

it's nice of them to let you guys believe that your voting process works.

keeps spirits up:)

yeah, in reality, we have much more control over local elections than national ones, yet just as many people avoid those as the national ones

Domains_Broker 06-06-2007 01:24 PM

To paraphrase Dana Carvey:

He will NEVER get elected simply because of his name, "Barack Hussein Obama"

"Could any name be tougher running for president?"

"Hi, I'm Charles Manson Hitler, I'd like your vote"

Hilarious... and I agree with him.

gornyhuy 06-06-2007 01:28 PM

Reasons they'll never be elected:
Obama - black
Clinton - female
Romney - Mormon
Guliani - too liberal for conservative base

What else? Who is so boring and white bread that they'll get on the ticket?

The Duck 06-06-2007 01:29 PM

Ron Paul FTW.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul's Record
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

DWB 06-06-2007 02:15 PM

He could never win anyway. This country would have 10 white female presidents before 1 black male.

And if by freak chance he did get in... he'd be shot dead by some hick in 6 months.

LiveDose 06-06-2007 02:17 PM

He was done the day he announced. Give me a break.

If he secretly embraced the adult industry for campaign funding promising to abolish anti-porn legislation...
