you'd be surprised on the bonds animals and humans can make...
growing up my best friend for 2 years was a 2000 pound Holstein bull, up untill the day we got rid of him, he has never snorted at me, charged me, or attempt to hurt me in any way... i could walk out in the barn yard and he would come up and lick me, and put his head under my leg trying to lift me up, in the barn he would let me lay on his side and he put his head on my lap and sleep... just because in the wild, or whatever its natural instinct is to kill anything that looks like its gonna harm you, doesn't mean you can't domesticate it enough where it feels comfortable and not threatened around a human...Comment

OK.. This was a lion, but one family in SA has a leopard they rescued as a cub. This thing sits on the coffee table with it's eyes on the TV set blocking the view of other family members
The kids can pull it's tail and try to shove it around, but it does not bother. Domestic cats and dogs don't seem to be seen as prey.
But... the instinct is still there and shows when animals like goats and other big cats roam near - that causes a frenzy and a cloud of dust *lol*Comment
