The pill can also be used to regulate periods. Makes them lighter, less cramping, and apt to come on a more regular schedule.

this girl i knew in high school was on the pill because she used to get cysts on her overies, so her body to stop producing eggs would stop the cysts from forming

on a seroius note, if your girl, or any woman you are banging is taking antibiotics (like tetracycline and ampicillin) it can sometime have effects on the pill to where it doesnt work. there are some studies that say its not true and some that say it is... regardless be careful
