Currently listening to the L.A. Symphony - Disappear Here album. I don't really have individual songs to recommend because I base an artist's success on an album, not on a song. I think the new Roots album is a good example of a well-rounded, complete album. Two others that come to mind are Jurassic 5 - Quality Control and Binary Star - Masters of the Universe Blackalicious - The Craft is an album for people who are not hip hop fans, since it's mainly upbeat and slightly "pop-y" at times. |

For the first 10 or so years rap was peaceful, and non violent. And a lot of it was comical. Anybody remember Biz Markee, "Oh baby you...got what I neeyeed. But you say he's just a friend, but you say he's just a friend..OH BABY YOU...!" |
