I said in context that I owned 2 houses when I was 19 (with my girlfriend at the time) and that my business was featured on MTV Australia (Michael Chugg who owns Frontier Touring bought 50% of Dial-A-Video in 1986 and because Frontier Touring were and are the largest music touring promoters in Australia we got a 15 minute feature on MTV Australia). I mentioned that to indicate that I know what work is.

Some people find it hard to believe someone else has done something if they have not done it themselves.
