    I need a gift for a chick

    Any recommendations please?

    Now I know this is GFY, so I've probably got * it * coming to me for asking this question. Not like I'm expecting a serious answer from you guys, but its all good if it breeds inspiration.

    Can't really think of anything that I didn't already buy. Which is why I'm asking.


    Ladies, which perfumes should I be looking at? Or any accessories like designer bags, silk scarves, etc. Don't hold back... I don't have a clue.

                                          It's my wife's 25th birthday in a weeks time and mine (52nd) a week after. So have to get her something special and she has everything she wants. Or at least everything I can think of, jewelery is out she does not wear it, sexy lingerie, she's got a cupboard full of it. Go out at least once a week for a "candle light meal".

                                                                                      18 months, falls into both girlie and intellectual. Not a special occasion... so I like the paintings idea. Also thought of scented candles sets, red roses, and a gold bracelet.

                                                                                      Right about now, I may be clueless... but not completely clueless ... just looking for some inspiration is all.

                                                                                                      Rent an exotic car and take a weekend vacation in the country at a bed and breakfast or some exclusive resort...

                                                                                                      I surprised my husband ( he is now my ex -- more on that in a bit) by renting a limo on our anniversary.. went to a very nice French restaurant... was ready to do it all evening in the limo but he didn't want to.. said he didn't want the limo driver to hear us.. LMAO..... he was a real prude which is why we are divorced hehehe

                                                                                                          Spa treatments are a great idea. Facial, massage, manicure/pedicure, the works. I've met very few women who wouldn't love to be pampered for a day.

                                                                                                          Also, even if she isn't a big jewlery girl (I'm not), she may still appreciate a ring. One that really shows you know her tastes that she could wear all the time. Doesn't have to be an 'engagement' ring. If she is really an intelligent type she should understand an 'I love you' ring without a lifetime commitment.

                                                                                                          Just a few thoughts.

                                                                                                          If it were me, I'd go head over heels for a nice dinner and the LotR DVD.

                                                                                                                                          Yes, we've exchange those words almost daily since... a long time ago. I love the anklette idea, and I actually managed to find a nice Prada bag eventually. So I'll probably go with a bouquet of red roses, and the Prada bag with an anklette inside of it. But I'll be checking out the shops before buying anything.
