You've got to be kidding, fuck you Firefox!!!

All of my saved form passwords, after upgrading to 2.0.0.2.....GONE!!!

Holy fuck .....fuck you firefox, you just cost me AT LEAST an hour today.

I'd love a firefox paid service...so i could hold someone accountable for this kind of horse shit.

If I'm not able find the old encrypted file & port it to this new version...i might just lose my mind today.

COCK SUCKERS!

I love it when you guys come in here & say that kind of shit.

Which is why i specifically said i WOULD PAY if they had a paid service, so i had someone to hold accountable.

You really need to check out the Google browser sync extension. Its free and you'll never have this problem again. It will sync everything, too, not just password. Cache, history, browsing session, bookmarks... everything. Probably the most useful firefox extension out there, and it works flawlessly.

Klen 02-27-2007 04:37 PM

Strange,i just upgraded and didnt lose anything.Pro you probaly had corrupted firefox and that is why that happend.

BradM 02-27-2007 04:38 PM

Yup did the same thing to me. Fucking nightmare.

BVF 02-27-2007 04:44 PM

use a yahoo or google toolbar to save your favorite bookmarks...then if your comp crashes or you upgrade your browser, you still have them.

Thanks..this is a great tip I lost all mine too :Oh crap

beemk 02-27-2007 05:07 PM

im not really sure what it was, but mine were gone too... then when i went into tools i was able to look up my passwords but they just didnt auto fill out.

psili 02-27-2007 05:12 PM

Two windows and a linux box didn't have an issue with the upgrade either. If it was a firefox thing, you'd think it would be an issue for everyone, wouldn't you?

baddog 02-27-2007 05:13 PM

when it did the auto update it asked me if I wanted the password plugin. I said yes, and they still work

donkevlar 02-27-2007 05:13 PM

Yea on my update it fucked up some passwords and not others... They were still there like ******** but wrong pass.

HentaiGuy 02-27-2007 05:16 PM

Roboform = no problems.

Nookster 02-27-2007 05:18 PM

upgrade was fine for me. that sucks to hear though man.

StarkReality 02-27-2007 05:22 PM

Totally sucks, the only way it works for me now is pressing submit, then the back button and voila, filled correctly...dang it !

Chr0makey 02-27-2007 05:24 PM

Man that sucks :(

smokingdawn 02-27-2007 05:29 PM

That is odd. I didn't lose any of mine in the update. Sorry to hear it prO
