The Big .XXX Backers from the Adult Biz are....
Some of the biggest players in the game, people you would not imagine have there hands in this...
People we all know and trust are behind closed doors pushing all the small guys out. The can all easily afford the high fees, that is why they will be so high, and the small fish will be left to fry. see the big fish are tired of all the little fish in this biz and this is there way to dry things up for them and we all know what happens to a dried up fish... I am not gonna say any names, but I will point you in the right direction to find out who these players are... www.new.net Go there and find out what you have to do to see there names in your browser, once you do that go type in there search bar for big company names... once you find one that is already registered as a .xxx through there go to the site, once there see who is running it, you might be suprised :winkwink: For the record I do not support .xxx and I will not use .xxx unless I am legally forced to! |
they will never succeed, sure it might push out new broke people or people doing it for beer money but all you need is say 5k or so to secure a good number of your .coms. this is assuming that people who own the .com get the .xxx. if that doesn't happen, its lawsuit city.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING .XXX DOMAIN NAMES
Recently, ICANN approved .xxx as a top-level domain. Please note that the .xxx domain available through New.net ("New.net .xxx Domain") is not the same as the .xxx top-level domain that was recently approved by ICANN. Any New.net .xxx Domain will, however, continue to be accessible and operational through the New.net Domain Resolution Network. |
This company New.net is saying basicly if Icann doesn't approved these tld's, so what because all the isp's are backing them and that is what matters in the end... If the ISP will send the request to the servers and New.net can maintain the database there is no need for icann...

that's a threat that will go nowhere lol
|
you stupid piece of shit
either name names or shut up whats the damn purpose of this thread |

And it does not matter if new.net is just a wanna be player or has no chane against icann... What matters is people buying .xxx names from new.net shows support for that tld and icann does look at that and it could weight there decision, also, it shows who these people are supporting .xxx behind closed doors.. |
Once someone more computer-savy then me (99.9999% of you are in THAT category, please post the names here for the world to see? Thanks VERY much!

I agree, except that it shows support, if we all sit back and let squatter take the names it shows we do not support it and what we have said will happen is... We can all get our names in the end if .xxx does pass through court... No need to show support now! |

ill give you one of my fake nicks then post the names

.xxx will never pass. It's a stupid idea.
|
I agree with Jon Clark, if somebody registers their .xxx now they are financially supporting the .XXX bullshit!
|
OMG I cant believe I have to read this crap and reply to it.
new.net is a scam from a few years ago, not connected with the current .xxx proposal in ANY way. They tried to make some competition to the ICANN system but failed (although still about 10% PC's have some browser plugins enabled to reach the NEW.NET domains). again, this is in NO way connected to ICM's .xxx proposal ! and should .xxx get passed, the new.net ".xxx" domans would become completely wortheless anyway, since no browsers would recognize them anymore |
xxx domans no really atractive..

Shows how much you really know... 174,661,619 New.net enabled Internet users worldwide! Believe me when I say New.net and ICM are in bed together on this :upsidedow |

Not to mention the big ISP's backing them... Quote:

Anyone who registers a .xxx through new.net or any other registrar, or pre-reging them from ICM is in fact supporting .xxx and should be exposed to the community... |
if you think whoever owns porn.xxx would be able to keep it if a .xxx is allowed you are nuts.. all the big .xxx names will be reserved then open for auction.
nobody will be transferring over shit..remember this is about money..not saving kids from porn. |
I'm going to buy steve.xxx
