Hehe, I was starting an ATM company a few months back and purchased the machine. I now work at a bank as my mainstream job - but its a conflict of interest. Kinda blows but eh, whattaya gonna do.

SO! If anyone is interested in buying an ATM machine let me know! It is brand new and I have never used it, although I did set it up. It is ready to go, just need to get connected to the network.

-Comes with Lighted Topper
-Comes with the electronic lock - not the dial
-Brand new, never used

Would be a fun way to store your cash at home if you didn't want it in the bank ;) haha. You can setup the fee to go to your savings account or something - or set no fee at all :D

It's really not a deal with pronunciation. Saying tomato or tuh-mah-toe is essentially the same thing... you are not adding anything to the word. It's like some people pronounce Hurricane 'Her-Uh-Kin'. Saying ATM Machine is adding a word that absolutely does not need to be there since Machine is already included in ATM. But to each his own I guess. Also cocks.

I hear people pronounce things extremely weird here in the South lol. One of the funniest things is to hear them say 'Windows'. Nearly all of the older people here pronounce Windows as 'Winders'. That's "Wind" then "Ers". Pretty funny shit.

Mine currently holds about $14,000. If you buy another cassette for it, the limits depend. Depending on the cassette you buy, you can set this ATM to hold in the upwords of $50,000. Average with a 2nd cassette is about $22,000 though. (This is all assuming you are loading it with $20 bills)

Money comes in the long run. If you are a good salesperson and can market you way to business owners, you can get an excellent location and charge $2 per swipe. The money comes in the long run...

Lets say you charge $2 per swipe and get an average of 30 transactions a day.

Thats $60/day and $1800/month.

Lets say this continues. You make your money back in just over 2 months.
Now lets say you buy another machine, and your sales keep steady (which is the case 99% of the time).

Eventually, you own 5 machines making an average of $1800/month each. Who wouldn't mind sitting on their asses making $9k a month?

And if you are wondering about fees, very minimal. Even less if you don't use an armored car to load it.

Anyone still think its a bad investment?

I swear a new law started this year about ATMs - something about how they now have to have some sort of protection form people stealing your info..... saw something about it on the news. I also think they said you can not use it if it does not have the new protection??

Correct, the machines now need to be Triple DES compliant, which almost all new models are. This one is :)
