I want enough money to keep me and my loved ones comfortable in the style and manner which we live. If the boys want something I can buy it for them if my gf wants a new pair of shoes she can get it with out worrying about the bills or dent to the bank account. Since I live in New York and it is so expensive I need to make at least 6000.00 after taxes to live comfortably if I can double that I will be very happy.

I'd be happy with $2,000 a month, to be honest... Anywhere from there up to $200,000 a year and I would be happy as a clam. More than that even better, but at that point there's not a lot more that you need.

Sure, I could imagine wanting more than you could get with 200k a year... but let's face it, there would be a lot of extra stuff in there. I guess 200k is the point at which I could have everything I want now. If I was making that much, I'd probably be inclined to want more, but I don't want to be greedy.

That's the problem. 200k wouldn't get me everything I could want now. There would have to be a point where I couldn't spend it fast enough (Mr Gates bank ballance would be an example) but it'd be at a stupidly high level. I have far too big a list of very expensive things in my head that I'd like tomorrow if possible

i'd like to be at 20-30k/month. i could get a new car and a decent house then, which would make me happy. everything else would just be raw cash to fuck around with after that.. or just buying more cars or bigger houses.. i want enough to give me the feeling of security, enough to pay for all my bills + extra toys per month and still have enough to throw in the bank to save up in case this income dries up for any reason.

i'd like to think at 20-30k/month i'd be smart enough to figure out ways to grow it faster and diversify the sources that i receive income from. the more money you have the more risks you can take, the more risks you take the better your chances are at scoring a big deal. then the big deal pays off

php/mysql guru. hosting, coding, all that jazz.

then again im never satisfied, so $365k is just a midterm goal
