Ya, but if it's Oil Pastel, the dust is extremely toxic & dangerous...

You should always wear a mask.
Never blow on the drawing to get the excess dust off, let it fall on it's own.
Work on a vertical easel (like she has) so the dust falls down.
You should work in a well ventilated room also.

Trust me I went to art school for two years, that shit is one of the most, if not the most, dangerous art mediums to work with, it's pure toxic poison.

Oil Pastel is NOT going to kill you ... I've used it enough in the past ... and I'm still alive ... I've never used a mask or anything.
