Tericka says that her skills as a teacher have been overlooked. "It doesn’t seem to matter to the schools that I have had perfect reviews as a teacher. They only seem to care that I’m an ex-porn star," she says.



Tericka says she misses being in the classroom and teaching the kids. "I just don’t understand how you can take a teacher who has put so much into it, and suspend them for something that is 11 years in the past," she says. "I did live with the fear that somehow, someday, it would catch up with me. I just didn’t know that it would ruin me."

Dr Phil is a dick. He said porn is the worst thing in the world, blah blah, it only exploits young girls. He categorized all of porn as teens being taken advantage of.

First off how did they find out? I doubt she used the same name. Dr phil should look at the diet industry(which he was part of and sued) or the mainstream modeling industry if he wants to see real sleaze. The scumbag.

I hope she gets back into porn now that they've fired her. I hate the whole "I'm so ashamed of what I did" angle; she will never work as a teacher in a public school again regardless of how remorseful and ashamed she sounds and how she tries to distance herself from it morally.

Dr Phil very very reluctantly called it an "industry", although he said something like "if it even deserves that definition".

But one of the supporters of the woman correctly pointed out that the STUDENTS who found and viewed and passed around the old video were the ONLY ones breaking the law!! And why were they not punished in any way shape or form? To which the audience applauded quite long and loud!

The majority of the audience also said they would be perfectly comfortable having their child taught by the woman. The majority also approved ery much when Dr. Phil pointed out that in America, we always talk about turning our lives to the better and why should she be punished punitively for the rest of her life when she's been a new woman for a decade already?

I watched it and Dr. Phil really did get nasty towards the porn industry, although he DID say several times nothing she did was illegal.

And I loved it when her lawyer pointed out the kids looking were breaking the law ;)

The funnt thing is that people kept saying she should do something else besides teach teens, talking about their "raging hormones" lol, then suggesting she teach Jr. college :)

But she can't do ANYTHING with teaching because she's been officially suspended. And she's almost got her masters and had superior reviews.

She lives the next town over from me. I personally don't see the big deal about it. She did porn and now she wants to move on to other things. If she considers it a mistake then she shouldn't be punished for her past "mistakes".
