Looks like the sign-ups to thier affiliate program have gone through the roof right around the time everyone here started making a big stink about them. Counterproductive? perhaps. Just pointing it out. That is all

they may be getting a lot more traffic than normal but I don't think people are signing up to them (Most visitors from here will be checking out their site to see what the fuss is about) There is no evidence that people are signing up their site

I used to have their ref link in my sig for like two weeks. I had 7 people from here sign up under me.

are you serious? I know that is the "glass is half full" approach, but it just not true. I've spoken to thier people as well as people who promote them. They are tearing it up as a result of this. The only bad press is no press.

The exact time I started posting about zango my alexa hits went through the roof. I checked my server stats they don't look much different for october then they did for all the previous months, but on alexa it looks like i got 1000's of more people.

I didn't advertise my site, all I did was post a few screen shots here that were being servered on it. People were curious they clicked it. No different then the people who were curious clicked to see what zangocash was. Not to mention a lot of people I know who signed up to see first hand what sponsors were being targeted, what their "inside" looked like, etc..

You guys give alexa too much credit. Look at my alexa stats, does that mean TCC got thousands of people signing up? so why would it mean zango got thousands of people to sign up?

I am surprised all you had was 7 people. How many people you got to signup really doesn't mean much as I am sure a lot of people are curious about it. Obviously you didn't make any money, because if you did you wouldn't have just said " I got 7 people" you would have said " I made xxxx$ in referral fees " etc.... nice try.

I'm not surprised, all this talk about Zango on the boards creates great awareness of their product. Some will hate it, some will love it. Either way, they've gotten more press than a full skinning of this board for free.

I am signed up to at least 100 programs that I signed up to just to check it out and never did anything with

anyone that runs an affiliate program knows that for every 100 affiliates that sign up, only 1-2 are worth a shit

1. Most importantly, I do not support Zango or zango-like companies, neither publicly nor privately.
2. I DO support those who speak out against what the Zango business model represents.
3. I do NOT promote companies who support Zango.
4. I will not accept gallery submissions on any of my sites of any galleries that promote companies who I know supports Zango.

and 5. I am open to entertain giving my support to other ideas people may come up with that serves to fight this blight on our industry, because when you cut away the facade and get right down to it, it is theft plain and simple.

alexa obviously doesnt judge affiliates it judges traffic..

I don't doubt they are growing in traffic or in affiliates as they bought some major ad spots lately but i highly doubt gfy had anything to do with it..

Selling adware isnt hard , staying away from the ftc is.. They already got hit once.. this is another of those companies that will vanish overnight after the next ftc investigation and everyone will cry "wheres my money "

You advertised zango cash and god knows how many installs you were responsible for. At the same time you promoted aff and sexsearch, amoung several other sites that was targeted by people using zango (way to shoot yourself in the foot). You stop using zangocash, the main reason was because they were late paying you, as you put it. You said you still have a good relationship with them. You have never posted anything bad about zango but have posted at least 20 times either supporting them or AFF and/or undermining everything we are trying to do here. When asked why you wont help, you said you worry about yourself first. Thanks for spending even 2 mins to help the rest of us, which would also be helping you, etc... shit i could go on and on. So please forgive me if I don't give what you say much credibility either.


BTW, all of this "press" that was more then a board skinning as you put it, was for the side of zango that people buy traffic from, NOT for zangocash, you know the stuff you used. Think about it, i am sure some people, shaddy people read all of this and thought about buying traffic from zango to try to make money. I seriously doubt anyone could be stupid enough to go start trying to make .40 an install and then fuck themselves on the rest of their affiliate revenue from their other sponsors. No one could be that stupid to promote other sponors like AFF and sexsearch and do zango installs. Two totally different things. But nice try by you, yet again.

You don't seem to care who you do business with, including Zango, Moviepass, etc.. That's totally your choice of course, and I'm sure it's purely motivated by how much money they pay you. You aren't the only sellout, but really do you need the money that bad that you don't care where you get it? My original impressions of you and getting to know you a little were that you were a great guy and had more integrity than the usual GFY'er who just doesn't care.

There was also a lot of YouTube PSA videos created by YouTube members about Zango.. which I'm sure gave them a lot of press too. I wouldn't give GFY full credit for it.

It is strange how all of these people who post trying to say we are wasting our time either lead back to AFF or DH. Almost every time, well minus the board trolls.

You know I don't do business with WD or Zango right now or for the past 60 days right? Knowing the owners/staff of these companies and thanking them for taking me out to dinner in NYC was a courteous thing to say.

I was trading traffic with guys like Slick and Minte and 100's of other known webmasters and popping galleries off to shemp and the hun long before some idiot named "DarkJedi" was ever heard of anywhere on adult boards.
