I dont quite get that dilemma; here in Quebec the drinking age is 18 and always been, as well as the legal age to perform in the adult industry. Give me the explanation why in the US it is told that ppl need to be 21 to drink and go to bars instead of 18 and I will speak my opinion.

For now all I think is weird is that they wont let 18 years old have a beer, but they certainly will send them in the army to get killed. Go figure.

Maybe they think an 18 years old isnt mature enough to know what they're doing and might reconsider at 21? Besides, if they suddenly change the legal age for adult biz, what's gonna happen to all the models that are under 21 that appears online? Well speaking personally, I think it would be a decent idea frankly. You know some people dont distinguish between "teen (18 and 19)" and "young teen", which is nothing but bad.

You can vote here at 18, but cant drink until you're 21. There is talk now of raising the age at which you can buy tobacco products from 18 to 19, so there is less smoking on high-school grounds. Mainly the local govnt. thinks it will cut down on 18 yr old seniors distributing smokes to younger kids.

Anyway, not a bad idea, but it'll never happen legally, so shooters would have to do it manually.

I think 18 is too young I would make it 21. The few 18 yr old models I dealt with were very very immature.To ask a girl to make a life decision at 18 is too young.

I've got to agree with Mediachick. The hassle with removing previously legal content from present sites would be impossible. Then there are back issues of magazines like Playboy to name one of millions. Then the general fashion industry might have to change and they're too powerful to let that happen.

18 is enough, you're considered an adult, and about the whole 21 drinking thing, i was the same way "you can die for your country at 18, why can't i drink at 18?" because its been proven alcohol affects your brain, duh, and your frontal lobe in your brain isn't fully developed until you're 21 or older, thus they would rather you have a fully developed brain before you decide to start killing it ;)

I think the legal age for ALL activities such as drinking, voting, and fucking on camera should be standardized to the SAME AGE!!! If 18 is the magical number, than it should be 18 for all!

At our company, we hire 19 year olds and over because that is the legal drinking age here and it just makes life easier. A girl who is hot at 18 will still be hot at 19.
