SexSearch is targeting their own traffic with their zango ads. Who sends most of the traffic to sexsearch (hint: affiliates).

Does anyone here promote these guys and why would you deal with a company that treats their affiliates this way ?????

In the grand scheme of things 30 million is a small number. I think WG knows that. And he, as we all have, have lost sales to them.

I'm sure WG knows it. I'm just surprised that he almost even DEFENDS it.. as opposed to being neutral about it.

Incase you did not know WiredGuy promoted zangocash. And, after all of this came out he said the main reason he stopped promoting them was because they were late sending his checks.

I would think the main reason you would stop would be because you didn't want to fuckyourself and millions of others (both webmasters and surfers), but thats just me.

I have never heard him come out and talk bad about them and more then a few times seem to question what I am doing instead of what the spyware or companies using them or doing....

Zango made 50million in 04. I don't know how much they made in 2005.

Thats what they collected in money from ad views/clicks being sold not the amount of sales that were lost. I am sure these companies are profiting from using them so who knows how much sales were lost in 2004 alone, could have been over 100million in sales. I bet a lot more in 2005, and even more in 2006.

The point is it may not be a ton of sales lost right now, but unless we do something the problem is only going to get worse. This year they make take 2% of your sales, next year 5%, then 10%, etc... At what point is it too much. At what amount do you stop justifing loss of sales through theft. (the answer should be none).

So if your main reason to stop using zangocash was because they didn't pay you, would you have continued to promote them if they did pay you even after you knew what zango did to all of our sales/traffic, even your own ? I doubt you would say yes, but from everything you have posted so far I wouldn't be surprised.

After finding out I had been sending traffic to a company that was fucking me and everyone else here, I would have pulled my traffic for that reason alone, not because they were late on payments. But thats just me.

I think he’s saying he’s not going to trash a company while they owe him money. At least not yet. That's smart. Don't give them any excuse to withhold payments. Although the notion that a company will just not pay says a lot about that company.

My biggest fear just getting into this industry is the shady nature of almost everyone, seemingly.
