OK so the rumor mill is true I am ALIVE and WELL I have had my transplant and am doing great. I got a new 31 year old heart on my new second chance lease on life so my new birthday is Oct 26th and belive me when I say we will be rocking next year and throwing a HUGE party for it! In the interim I am still at UCLA Medical Center and accepting calls on my cell phone Thank you to all who have prayed, loved and generally been amazing especially my whole family at Helmy I love you all and could not have made it without you guys you are all truly amazing people. As well as everyone else who have been my support group you know who you are and are all truly fantastic.

This is truly a blessed day I have had my first biopsy on my new heart everything is going 100% as planned with no rejection infection or problems!!!:1orglaugh

AWWWWW I miss you Bugbee! Thank you so much for the update! I can not wait for you to be up and on your feet again! I have much love for you my friend!

Stephen, I actually want to take this opportunity to do two things. First and foremost, congratulate you and wish you a speedy recovery. Our industry needs your smiling face and we want your lively spirit back in our midst!!!

Second, I want to apologize for not being around for you during this difficult time. I love you dearly and think the world of you. As you know, my life has revolved around hospitals alot lately, too. My mom's illness has been tough...tiring emotionally and spiritually. Regardless of that, my issues shouldn't have come in the way of being there for a dear friend. There are many ways to do it and I should have stepped up. I'm sorry, my friend.

I will be in LA this week. I will call you with hopes to be able to visit you.
