Paymonde Part 2

Ok so I recieved my paymonde payment today to the funds2go account I have setup to recieve payments

so I login to my funds2go account to transfer the funds to my funds2go debit card

low and behold it didnt work retuned some sort of bank error or something , so im like WTF I then refresh the page and the account balance is showing zero

hmmm ok

so I figure maybe it transfered the funds to the card so I select the debit card balance option and the browser returns the following:

"
Debit Card Balance
Error Debit Card Balance Request
We are sorry, but we are unable to process your balance request at this time.

Please contact our customer support at (514)287-0009 ext.229 for assistance regarding this issue.

"

now im like really WTF

so I call the number, it rings a few times then the automated merlin system ( or whatever systemm it is) informs me that the extension has not been initialized yet so I would not be able to leave a message at that extension

now I do know that paymonde and MVC and PISO and funds2go are all the same company

so right now the account shows zero and I cannot access the debit card balance and it looks like the numbers goes to an extension that was just set up today

should I be worried??????

I spoke to I think a guy named allen yesterday and he assured me all was fine, explained how he met everyone at internext and they are totaly honest etc etc ( I think I may have met this guy someplace before not sure)

in any case hopefully by monday all of the issues with paymonde and there daughter companies will all be sorted out

otherwise

I will be worried

----mr pissing me off would not be a good thing

sig spot.

BigBomb 10-28-2006 01:31 PM

have you tried to cash out funds from your funds2go card then?

beckie 10-28-2006 02:53 PM

Funny, I tried to set up (pay for the funds2go) card and it kept on giving me an error. I haven't heard from PISO/funds2go since the 21st, even though I have emailed/called them several times. It's for a few hundred, so I'm not really making it top priority. It just really pisses me off that they are jerking everyone around.

And yes, I met a few of them at Internext. I was impressed with how friendly they were, but am a little surprised at what big players they claimed to be there after all this mess a few months later.

MaDalton 10-28-2006 03:01 PM

you know what's really funny: the month october in the fubar calendar is sponsored by myvirtualcard and i have to look at them the whole day...

beckie 10-28-2006 03:05 PM

Funny - I didn't even notice that!!! The month is almost over with.

Beware of friendly people at conferences claiming to be "big players" :) BTW - they are not.

Just ask for copies of their complete corp documents along with rap sheets of all officers and staff (copies of all passports would be helpful) and details of all parent and subsidiary companies and what jurisdictions these corps operate under. Sounds reasonable for any company that is going to have their hands on other people's money? :pimp

Seriously... why do processors think they can set up business using a lawyers office or a mailing address and claim that is an operating address? Total nuts!

MaddCaz 10-28-2006 04:36 PM

hmm not terribly familiar with paymonde...

Perfect example of this. I found the other Paymonde thread after doing a search for Ezpayment, after a sponsor contacted me about promoting him.

I checked out his site and found he was using Ezpaynet which I hadn't heard of so I dug about and found out that it uses the same address as an estate agents in Surrey, England :)

From the other thread I see that EZpaynet is just Paymonde/PISO.

Lykos 10-28-2006 05:37 PM

paymonde goes down.,....lol

BigBomb 10-29-2006 09:09 AM

I have recieved the wire from paymonde yesterday. So all is ok with payments from paymonde on this week.

Barefootsies 10-29-2006 09:14 AM

Not good sire!

I had e-mailed a couple of the gents over there last week to see what up. I had never heard back. Maybe they are just busy?? :Oh crap

I have been receiving my payment(s), so I guess atleast in that regard things are still going well.

:)

All may be well - who knows?

With the disasterous trail of defunct payment processors in this business it kinda makes ya wary - especially if they are not transparent and cannot provide a "real" address (handy for serving the paperwork) or are entangled in multi-jurisdiction corps where the client is clueless about what law they are signing processing deals under.

I hear ya mate. Maybe it's little more than a bump in the road for them, and everything's peachy. But after the whoas people had with some other companies, loosing thousands of dollars, noone's willing to take the risks and be as trusting..

Sad but true.

:Oh crap

Dear Merchant,
Please be advised that the service has been restored for the following: (Card Activation, Card load, Balance inquiry). Also, funds that have been loaded over the weekend which are still pending, will be cancelled and returned to your funds2go account shortly.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, The Funds2Go Sales Team.

That part may be a simple technically ps, tho there is fair reason to consider the fundamentals of this association of companies has something lacking.

Bottom line.. be wary. We have tolerated enough assholes attempting to be payment processors in this business and failing any test of basic transparency over their companies and it's activities and expecting others to trust them with funds.

9 days since Paymonde deigned to comment on their current problems. As of today, NO processing of Mastercards, NO idea whether anyone will be paid, NO effort whatsoever to communicate with webmaster clients.

You have to wonder what possibly could be going on in their so-called minds. If you tried, you couldn't dream-up a more perfect way to destroy your business.

I have been receiving my payments so far, and they have done 1, maybe 2, updates in their control panel to the issue with MC. But on the whole, I would have to agree that the lack of communication is damaging their company's name.

I do not see the logic in it either? I mean, yesterday CCBill had an issue. There is a thread(s) about it, and you have a handful of CCBill peeps answering in the e-mail about the progress.
