Jack is good for drinks of course. Makers Mark is pretty good just for sipping. Crown is good too.

Spunky 10-21-2006 05:48 PM

Nylz 10-21-2006 06:46 PM

:thumbsup

I prefer Beam over Jack - my buds find it a little smoother. Plus its a bit cheaper 'round these parts.

And the Beam distillery in Happy Hollow gives free samples during the tour :winkwink:

Jack don't - Lynchburg's still a dry county. :(

The answer.

Jack is fine for pissy mixed drinks where you don't mind something tasting like the used carbon from an old battery.

Laphroaig is good shit. :thumbsup

SkeetSkeet 10-21-2006 07:16 PM

Canadian Club is my regular but Makers Mark isn't bad either

Orfeux 10-21-2006 07:17 PM

Why do you find it necessary to put something down to make something else seem better?

Oh, I'm sorry if my statement of "I don't like Jack as much as Laphroaig." offends you, street urchin. :)

chaze 10-21-2006 07:30 PM

I just found out to be called whiskey it has to be made in Tennessee and Jack Daniels owns the market there.

So I would bet 999 out 1000 would say JD

Which of course is my favorite

Webby 10-21-2006 07:32 PM

Damn.. drinking one now - had to check..

It's Johnnie Walker - 15 year old malt, but I'll try anything as long as it's not ant piss in vinegar :pimp

There is only one whiskey on this planet - tho various brands - and not one of them ever came from Tennessee chaze :winkwink:

All of em come from Scotland - else it's just a local fake :pimp

escorpio 10-21-2006 07:37 PM

Maker's Mark
Crown Royal

MediaGuy 10-21-2006 07:40 PM

Let's be picky.

Isn't Bourbon US-whiskey, and Rye Canadian, Scotch from Scotland and Whisky from Ireland?

My favorites then would be Jack (better than them all, actually), CC, Lagavullin and Bushmills...

Hmmm anyone know if Isle of Skye is Irish or Scottish? That stuff is kick... ASS, quite booteefull.

L-Pink 10-21-2006 07:42 PM

Buffalo Trace is real smooth. And one of the only whiskey's still owned by Americans.

Same here. Especially the red label. I only drink when I want to get hammered, so there's no point in going the extra mile with gay black and blue labels.

I think its a bourbon. Just like Jim Beam.

Which by the way, I absolutely can't stand Beam. It makes me shiver in disgust, lol.

OG LennyT 10-21-2006 09:16 PM

It's whiskey mixed with spices and fruit. Oranges, peaches, cinnomon, etc.

shermo 10-21-2006 10:32 PM

In order for it to be real Whiskey, it needs to be Irish...
