FACT: Gay people have no personalities
They spend all their time talking about how they are gay. It's like a big attention fest drawn to their perversion, and how it should be normal, and why cant the world just accept that they have a very sick perversion, ect.
You don't see hetro sodomites, demanding hetro sodomite rights, do you? Why does the focus always have to be their perversion? Its really gay I think. :2 cents: |

In my every day life, my sexuality comes into play very little, and I think that's true for most gay men. My GFY persona? Of COURSE it's all about "gay gay gay gay". I'm branding and marketing things from the gay side of the industry, which isn't heavily represented on here. So in this invironment, from a marketing persective "gay gay gay gay" works, and it works VERY well. You also have to keep in mind, that gays are going through a civil rights struggle right now, very similar to ones that african americans went through in this country. We want the rights to protect our partners, and we want to be treated equally and fairly. During ANY civil rights struggle, the thing that makes a person a minority becomes highlighted, and every other aspect of their personality and life is shadowed behind that. |

But seriously (I was kidding above), I do agree that some (I say some) gay folks tend to define themselves by their sexuality and I'm guessing that's what bothers you, but the fucking Irish do the same shit, same as Italians or whatever. if someone has something that makes them stand out of the crowd they tend to play it, it's just human nature. I say live and let live. I love a good conversation with a gay guy or girl anytime, I find their lifestyle and their problems they face very interesting. |

I think perhaps you just notice the gay guys who talk about how they are gay - but I dont think this is any different than talking to some idiot who is completely self-absorbed and can only talk about their job, or how sucessful they are.. or some woman who cant get over the fact that she's female and needs to constantly remind everyone...

And the reason that I do not post here are because of the ignorant fucking statements posted above. This board is notoriously unfriendly and sometimes even hostile to homosexuals. It has a bad rep, and I really do not see any use to post in such an unfriendly place. It's like pissing on the Berlin Wall... you can do it, but who is it going to impress and what is it going to accomplish?
