My New Toy [pic]
After a few months of wanting to throw my PC out the window due to hardware conflicts, random reboots and all out gayness, plus the fact that I needed a good editing machine for some new sites on the horizon, I went and got myself my first Mac. A 24" iMac to be more precise.
The screen on this thing is simply beautiful and it makes my trusty 19" pc monitor look tiny. And I can't believe how much more workspace I have working with Photoshop and Final Cut (was using Premiere Pro before). Plus a new Wacom pen tablet speeds things up nicely too. Anyway...just wanted to share my enthusiasm with all you gays. Time to get back to cutting trailers... |
Damn son!!
That fuckin screen is huge!!! :thumbsup |
Pimp screen :pimp
|
Congrats!
I loved my iMac, but I ended up selling it so I could 'go mobile.' If you get 'Screen Spanner', which I believe has been updated for the intel boxes, you can attach the mini-dvi to VGA/DVI adaptor and run it dual-headed. I miss having 2800x900 res. :thumbsup |
congratz on getting one! :thumbsup

Yea...Im sure I know exactly what you mean. I think in the last year, I have reformatted my PC about 5 times. And this last time...God forbid I go to a Crackz site using IE, when BOOM...my PC is flooded with Spy and Adware. I tried getting rid of it with Panda, AdAware and ScanSpyware...but there was always something left. I reformatted last thursday and bought the Mac on Friday. ...horrible. |
Thank you all for the compliments too, btw :pimp

Ill stick with my pcs. :winkwink: I cant think of anything I could do on a mac I cant do on a pc, but I can think of plenty I can do on a pc, and not on a mac. :upsidedow No matter what the trendy little mac commercials have to say. :1orglaugh

I bought my Mac to only do two things. And it does them better and faster than my PC. And that's really h@Rdc0r3 that you do computer work on a 32". I guess I'm only 72% as cool as you. And I'm sure all that extra space is needed to design extra shitty looking websites like the one in your sig. Why don't you go try to sell some more Panamanian real estate on an adult webmaster board. Good luck with that, faggot. |

Wow! I want that aswell!
|
I have a hard time thinking that the black monitor is actually a 19 incher.
Congrats on the purchase! |
Apple! is rock!!
|
That rocks, man! Congrats! :thumbsup
|
You have the same office max desk as they have Datinggold
|
Why is there 75mm of plastic under the screen? Just jacks it up in the air for no reason and makes the monitor look like it has down syndrome.
No way I could work with my 24 if it had the crap under it, but if you're happy with it then kudos to you. |
