Another wallpaper for anybody who wants it. (PIC)

I just shot this about 15 minutes ago. It's cold as hell, windy, and I forgot my jacket.

Cold is temporary, photos are forever. :winkwink:

Nice pic though

It's not so much the cold as it was the wind. :winkwink:

It was the kind of wind that made your nose hairs turn into icycles within seconds.

Aaron. You may want to consider photography as a profession. :)

I've got one sitting on my desktop that you gave me that I swear is your ultimate shot....but this one is very nice, indeed. :)

That place is always lit up like that?

looks like a big flood light ...

historical is the only reason i would think they would light it up...

what i guess im getting at is....you didnt run over there...light it up for the pic and zoom over in the wind and snap it?

It would be a lot cooler if you DID do all that :winkwink:

Wheres the mooses or caribous?

I've thought about trying my hand as a professional photographer but I suck at marketing and self promotion so I'm not sure how I would actually make money at it. For now, I'll just stick to my pizza delivery job but thank you for the compliments and encouragement. :winkwink:

Klen 10-16-2006 09:13 AM

Hmm that background building looks so futuristic.

I've been known to do that. I saw this place on the 11th but had to wait 5 days for the right conditions.

LOL..:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Actually, I had to wait for the wedding to be over because Stuart was too busy with other things and couldn't take me back out there until last night.

Actually, I hired a helicopter to light it up from right above me.

Have not seen any Caribou and it was too dark when we saw the moose but I do have a pic of a bear. Just not sure that I want to post it here. :)

I was going to offer to just postpone the wedding for the sake of the photo... but the bride might have had an issue with that.

Take a closer look. There are no windows or curtains here.

It's not a house or a castle in Transsexual Transylvania...It's a gold mine. :winkwink:
