I'm thinking of blowing 500 bucks on a prize for a contest but god damn it I can't think of anything that would be good for a prize :(

Lots of half-decent home theater systems in that price range...or maybe a decent DVR...how about an external 1+TB hard drive? You could give away 7 or 8 fleshlights too.

I just picked up 3 19" flatscreens for about that. That'd be a decent prize for someone stuck on a one headed computer, or using CRTs. Throw in a few video cards, should be $500-$600 max.
