CANADA!! Why would an American consider visiting/moving/living there..
This is a serious question...I'm looking to get out of Puerto Rico when my lease is up and I'm not coming back to the mainland united states..It's either going to be another caribbean island or it will be Canada..
So what are the advantages of Being in Canada...I know that there have to be some... Oh and saying "Ni&&er we don't want you here" will only make me want to come more. :) |
we are cooler then everyone else
by cooler i mean..the temperature |

Our national mascott is a beaver... need I say more?

I'm trying to think of reasons to move there, and am drawing a blank.
It is better to live than the USA, but that's about it... |

Most people that I know who moved here from another country seem to love it (at least in Montreal) but I do hear complaints about the cold weather that is if you're not used to it. Although the restaurants are great and girls in montreal are fun, open and beautiful... There's certainly good opportunities to do biz here too. |

happy to see you go then ill be in touch on icq |
That's the only thing I'm scared of is the weather...But after sweating in the caribbean every fucking day for months, I'd give my left pinky toe for a cold crisp fall day...My electric bill was 300 last month. So I guess I couldn't escape the high winter gas prices. Now they're high YEAR ROUND electric prices.

If you move up to Canada, do not live on the east coast if you hate the winter.
Move to Vancouver. Of course, I can count on 2 hands how many black canadians I met in 4 years there. |

saying that the entire canadian nation sucks without taking into consideration that there also may be some areas and provinces that are decent is childish and close minded. I also have to conclude that heading back to america may also be an option - since you have so many amazing states to choose from.
If its a political thing where the climate in Canada is much better, then that is understandable. If its weather LOL.. someone needs to seriously look at a map. I live near toronto and we get temps at times over 110F and despite what hollywood says, we do not live in a frozen tundra - instead only 3 to 4 months out of the year are cold and I woudl have to say much nicer than many parts of the USA. Best thing is to visit several areas - I would recommend Toronto but stay out of certain areas that can be horrible. Maybe some towns that are country lifestyle - remember - pretty much everyone here also has highspeed internet for cheap running into the house. |
What are you going to say to Immigration Canada? You are running away from the U.S. because Bush is a dictator and your life is in danger?
:1orglaugh Good luck with that! |

Why would you consider moving to Canada if you don't already have good reasons to move there?
|
Damn Kitty, I guess you had a bad experience Eh!
Canada is a great place to live but one needs a second home south for winters ;-) |
|
I've lived in 5 provinces in Canada.. i'd recommend people to move out west to Vancouver, weather is all over, for porn its good - lots of promising models i've worked with and tons of new influx, and a 12 hour drive to LA.
My 2 cents. |

the webmasters here are fine they have sense of the "outer world" lol its just everyone else.... |
I would seriously consider Vancouver since the weather is far better, plus half of my friends are former Torontonians and don't plan on moving back there. No offence to any Torontonians here :)
Vancouver is the most photographed city on Flikr so do a search there and see. |

If you're seriously considering moving to Canada, I suggest you avoid Ontario entirely. It's a dull, cultureless province that lacks any form of uniqueness in comparison with others, or the States.
Montreal, Quebec or Vancouver, BC would serve you much better. |

Plus I would love to try Vancouver, however, there aren't any black people there so I wouldn't have any talent to shoot like in Toronto...Plus in Toronto, even though it isn't in the United States, I can get home to my Mama whenever I need to within five hours in my car...And I don't have to get on a plane.. I also can't stand living anywhere that is unorganized. PR is organized but I know if i move to another caribbean country, I'm going to have to give up some organization and timeliness and since I have my two kids with me, I don't know if that is a feasible alternative... Toronto is clean, safe, cosmopolitan, and most importantly ORGANIZED with good roads..You don't know the beating my car has taken here in PR on these roads....Thank God it's a rental cause shit is already starting to rattle on the thing..... I want the peace of mind knowing that if something serious happens with my or my kids health, there are facilities and a doctor that uses sterile updated equipment...Most of these caribbean countries, you'd be stucked between FUBAR and having to fly to miami for care, in which time you could be dead by arrival... It's a whole LOT fucking harder doing this shit when one has children to consider..If it wasn't for them, I'd be in Africa knee deep in jungle pussy and marijuana right now. |
fuck i didn't know marijuana possession was legal in Ontario and a blind eye is turned to prostitution? Hmmmmm....I'm starting to like it.

I moved from the states to Toronto I LOVE IT... Hell today Me and Ellisa bought a new home. We talked about moving to Vancouver but its just too damn expensive out there. You can drive to Buffalo and hop on a cheap flight to almost anywhere in the USA for less then 200 Bucks each way and not have to pay the international taxes that go along with flying out of Toronto. I travel down to Baltimore on a regular basis either via Car or plane never any problems. Hit me up on ICQ if you have any questions for an American living in Canada Tanker |
