Bangbros retarded ??? FUCKING DRAMA

I understand every program's concerns with this whole thing regarding spam and other regulations. Im fine with that because we have to follow them as well.

But if you're trying to be a company or program that follows the rules and sticks to savy business practices, for fucks sakes have the common sense to go through with it all the way!!!!

Due to some rogue affiliates on our end, some unwanted traffic leaked out to their sites which did not comply with their regulations - happened once before, and they were actually very helpful once i explained to them the nature of the problem. Up to this point, we're gravy.

Apparently tho, it occurred again - i went to check my stats and noticed that i had no sales for a period over 14 days....extremely unlikely unless the whole world's ISP were down for the last two weeks. This is their explanation regarind the problem:

" The reason your account has been cancelled is because our attourneys have received several complaints regarding the connection of your affiliate ID to unacceptable activities."

Fine! no prob, shut down the account. I will gladly send my traffic elsewhere...but for FUCKS' SAKE TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!!!!

First of all i get no proof of any kind that this is actually true....im out 14 days of commission and all i get is a "Im sorry for your inconvinience"

Let me just say this to you - Karma's a bitch and comes back 10 fold.

CheeseFrog 09-15-2006 12:18 PM

It was all exit traffic from my program's exit chain. It just so happened that one of our affiliates decided to spam. Their account was shut down immiadetly and what not...but we did not send any spam to Bangbros. it was all a by product of someone else's actions.

sharp 09-15-2006 12:41 PM

own up to your responsibility you pussy. It's your exit console, your refcode YOUR responsibility. It sucks, sure it do - but that's how it is when you work with traffic like you do.

I'm not a big fan of BanBros, but they did EXACTLY what they should do in this case

gooddomains 09-15-2006 12:53 PM

that's not good

squishypimp 09-15-2006 12:55 PM

drama time, bangbros are cool! they got some great content too!

wow....great professionalism there bud! :thumbsup u call all potential business contacts pussies? u must be HUGE in this industry :)

No matter what you say, there is NOTHING a sponsor can do from a pro-active point of view to avoid spam traffic.

I could easily post a link to a dummy tgp with some traffic going to it, and once the account gets approved, spam the shit out of your program. All you can do is shut my account down.

- PS: For those of you too hard thick to see thru your loyalties, please acknowledge the point that my point is NOT the fact that they did shut down my account - is the fact that they SHUT IT DOWN WITHOUT TELLING ME OR PAYING ME OUT when it wasnt even my direct fault.

wedouglas 09-15-2006 01:03 PM

If they have had a problem with your account before, I don't see any problem with what they did.

If I remember correctly, they had some fines a while back from spam. It's against their policy and allowing an account, which has had problems before, to remain open is bigger risk than reward.

I'm sure they don't just go closing accounts for the hell of it.

The problem wasnt that the account was shut down - the problem was that the account was shutdown without telling the affiliate, and this affiliate happened to be a large sponsor program who sent alot of joins their way.

No one is saying that the account shouldnt have been shut down, just that you should tell the affiliate (especially when its another sponsor program) that they are doing so.

Shutting down account is a daily occurence - but shutting them down and neglecting to inform the affiliate is a no-no.

First of all, you are not a potential business contacts, because you cant handle or control your own traffic. I would never deal with you.

Second; I closed all my adult sites in the beginnig of this week and replaced them with FPA's or consoles from one of the 5 sponsors I still trust untill i have figured out what to do with the sites.

Every singel other sponsor I have used, have either accepted Kiddiporn traffic, scammed me out of money by not paying or shaving my sales to a extend that there was no or very little profit left in the traffic I send them.

Programs should shut down accounts as soon as they break the rules. They gave you a warning the first time you broke the rules.. you were given a second chance, but you fucked up

I dont like the bangbros crew - that have never been a secret. But Pipecrew and the rest are brilliant compared with the rest of the programs out there. If you know anything about business, you can see why they are almost ALWAYS one or two steps ahead of everyone else.

You were warned once before already and mentioned that it was a rogue affiliate that spammed your tour and we were on the exit. We took your word for it and turned your account back on. This was for something a lot less serious.

the SECOND TIME, we get complaints from many people, gfy threads and the whole 9 yards, and how the link was now on an exit for CP pages. You call that drama? I call that business sense, I dont care if you send 5000 sales a day, that shit is not going to fly with us. You were terminated and you will remain terminated, Rogue affiliate or not.

I dont know why you have such an axe to grind - and I've never had a problem with you - but you sure like to flap your gums. Once again your thick skull has failed to comprehend the fact that nobody has a problem with the account being shutdown - the issue is the lack of communication, that's it - and it was a very expensive lack of communication.

Apprently no one on GFY can read.

No one has said you should ask permission to shut down accounts, or that you were wrong to shut it down, etc, etc.

Just answer this question yes or no: Do you think you should inform an affiliate when you shut down their account, regardless of the reason?

I adressed that part of the issue several times. It's just you that dont understand it - not my problem.

I dont have a problem with you, in fack I cant even recall seeing you post before today. I call it like I see it - you dont have to agree with me, but if you dont like to hear people who have a oposit oppinion, then you should stop posting on forums

Sparks 09-15-2006 02:34 PM

I won't make a judgment about your account being shutdown, but I will say that it sucks you wern't informed.

On a side note, why didn't you check your stats for two weeks? I check my stats multiple times a day, maybe I'm just compulsive, but that's a long time not to check.

BJ 09-15-2006 02:38 PM

Unless Im reading wrong, you would think, that if the traffic was from an exit, that the first person to be aware of the problem and receive complaints would be the originator of the exit.

Dollarmansteve 09-15-2006 02:40 PM

And just an FYI for everyone. The source of the SPAM that caused this whole problem is the same as mentioned here:

http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...ht=%2425%2C000

Many companies have been a target and, as you can see, the repercussions are wide ranging.

Lol, I thought that when you write something with this "?" in the end meant you were asking something.

When did this change?

Idiot.

I wondered why those emails had stopped. Cool, whoever caught the bastard deserves that reward! :thumbsup

rigrunner 09-15-2006 02:54 PM

Still... Bangbros must have valued that traffic if they didn't tell you to stop sending it... o_O
I don't agree with spam/cp or any kind of dodgy deals when it comes to biz but it sucks that they didn't inform you that the account was being closed.

C-Bass 09-15-2006 03:08 PM

Try checking 400 + accounts daily.....not a very productive day.

C-Bass 09-15-2006 03:10 PM

btw....not every company is structured the same way. Therefore daily operations are not structured as smaller programs.

Tranza - i apologize, i read the question wrong.

madawgz 09-15-2006 03:13 PM

fuck that sucks, so what kind of traffic were you sending them?

wedouglas 09-15-2006 03:20 PM

Are you telling me you didn't notice a problem within the day it was terminated?

If you send that many joins, some flag should go off on your side that there is an issue. If you don't notice that, tough. Im pretty sure most people see problems right away. Why it took you two weeks to notice, is beyond me.

I also don't think it is in their TOS that they are obligated to contact you. You were warned once and you violated their terms again. If you are going to violate the terms twice, don't expect people to do you any favors.
