How many of you have driven drunk?
I mean really blasted? And how often? really let's be honest about it.
nope, never... but then, I've only really been drunk 3 times in my life.
Did it once when I was a teen after that I grew up :disgust
I never drive blasted. It's a stupid thing to do !
Unfortunately, did it quite a few times in my early twenties. Thankfully I never hurt anyone and am even thankful for getting a DUI which sobered me up to how stupid and thoughtless I was being.

Maybe twice in my life. If I'm too drunk I tell my friends they gotta wait a few so I can get something to eat and drink or they can walk or get a taxi home. |
Not since I got pulled over in the Whataburger drive-thru.

never. i lost a buddy back in highschool that got drilled by a drunk driver, the guy was 4x over the limit
I did, 2 weeks after my 21st B-Day. I totaled a 1972 Chevy Impala. I woke up in the hospital with a shattered ankle and leg that was broken in 3 places. So now I have 7 screws and a 7 inch plate in my leg.:( If you know anything about old cars you'll know it's not easy to total that old of a car. I got a DWI and lost my license for a year. It was an expensive and painful lesson for me but I have not driven again drink or even with a little buzz.
If I had been in any other kind of car I would have been dead they told me, the Dr and the cops. So I hope that you all don't drive drunk. :) |
did it in my early 20s. Had some close calls...learned my lesson. I don't do it anymore and haven't for a long time.
To be honest I can barely drive when I'm sober. I'm afraid of going too fast (always driving in the slow lane) and already have problems merging in traffic
and it takes ALL my concentration just to drive so I never would drink and drive because driving is already difficult for me by itself. I also don't drink. I don't party, or go out at all. I only drive to the bank and grocery store, ( I don't go to bars, clubs or hang out with people much) so I don't see where I would even find the opportunity to drink at all. That's for people who actually have social lifes and go out, which I don't. |
Funny, It's one of the stupidest, wreckless things we can do and we all know it. Yet, we have just about all done it.
I don't really drink too much at all, but even if i did I wouldn't do it. Maybe it's because I'm a little older now. In my early 20's, I did it all the time. Stupid! |
Me- never. I even don't have a car :(

Used to do it way too often in my 20's. Lucky to be alive and without a dui for sure.
How many of you have closed 1 eye in order to drive? |
about 5 times the last 10 years, full drunken and i am happy nothing happened- now i have learned to let my car at home when stepping out for drinking
I used to do that once a week when I was younger. Evertime I went out.
I have in the past, but not in recent memory.
Yes I did until my senior year of college. Fortunatley, during my senior year I got my DUI. I deserved the DUI because i was simply drinking and driving. There was no accident, i was just all over the road. I learned my lesson and I have not and will never do it again. I take taxi's or limos if I chose to drink:2 cents:
Mr. Romance |
a few times in the past but i usually cannot drive when i'm drunk...
I'd rather kill myself than being so fucking stupid... :2 cents:
I'll admit that sometimes I have a hard time remembering how I got home with two fine ladies in my bed, but I have never driven drunk and if I think I'm going to be really gone I make sure to take a cab.
Paris Hilton gets DUI... :1orglaugh
never, I would never live with myself if I hit someone!
I used to once a month or so until I got pulled over. The cop saw I was a vet so he cut me some slack and called my wife to pick me up... no DUI.
That was 5-6 years ago and I havent done it since. I fucking learned my lesson. |
I did once in orlando it was horrible
Anyone who has and doesn't think it is an amazingly irresponsible thing to do is welcome to contact me for pictures of what my husband's legs looked like ten years after being hit by a drunk driver.
i would drink & drive before. Not totally plastered, Ive only done that like 3 times ever & it was SO stupid, thank gawd I was ok.
no car for me in cr so I cab it everywhere. Good habit I think will stick with me wherever I go now. |
Never. But I never drink, too. :)
I do not drink and drive
never drove when i was polluted with alchol but definitely a lil under the influence....but not no more....im not young and dumb anymore...
I can honestly say I have never driven drunk, or under any influence of alcohol.
Ony one time have I drove under the influence in general and that was sort of a 50-50 blame. I had no intention of doing it, was not trying to ingest anything at all, and had to get home from San Fransisco. Was at the Mariujana clinic upstairs with Dennis talking shop shortly after the passing of the medical marijuana law in CA. I refused any offers of assorted joints, pipes, bongs, food, and the like while I was there because I had to drive home to Redding. Needless to say I still got the worst contact high of my life, hell I do not think I had ever gotten that high even when actually smoking it myself. Just to many people smoking around me and it rising up towards us. Did not relize just how wasted I was until I pulled out of the paid parking lot and into rush hour traffic. Gawd that was the worst fucking experience. Didnt start to come down until around Red Bluff which was about 3 hours latter. |
I drove a block, once. From my apartments to the store down the street. Didn't realize I was drunk. Kind of toasted, yeah, but not 'one eye driving' or anything. I had just turned 21. Parked on the far side of the parking lot - and went in to buy more booze.
When I got home, I realized how incredibly stupid that was, and vowed not to repeat. Nothing's a bigger buzzkill than realizing you just did something incredibly stupid and greedy. |
I've done it a handful of times, every time was a sort of "pass the keys to the least drunk person" game and we all managed to get home. Not proud of it, but then when you're hammered your judgement is not at its strongest.
